Kendra Duggar’s Father Relaunches GoFundMe Amid “Urgent” Family Crisis

Kendra Duggar and her husband Joseph may be dipped in real hot boiling water over four counts of child endangerment charges, but Kendra’s family may simply have it even worse.

Things have gotten so bad that if they don’t get funds, they may find themselves having to witness one of humanity’s greatest discomforts: the state of homelessness.

For this reason, Kendra Duggar’s father, Paul Caldwell, has decided to appeal to fans and strangers alike for some show of kindness.

And no, in case you’re wondering, the funds won’t be used to fund Kendra’s legal battles.

Kendra Duggar’s Father Makes Impassioned Plea Amid “Urgent Displacement” Fears

Paul Caldwell is afraid that if people don’t step in to help his family out of their current financial predicament, he, his wife Christina and whatever of their nine children still lives at home with them, may be forced out into the street.

“My family is facing a difficult and urgent situation. We are in need to cover displacement expenses,” the GoFundMe’s creator Paul wrote.

Just in case the timing of the GoFundMe raises some suspicious eyes, Paul clarified that his family will “not be using these funds” to cover legal expenses.

Though originally launched on April 4, the GoFundMe was promptly taken down, before being put up again on April 7 with additional information.

The update read: “My name [is] Paul Caldwell [and I] am overseeing the transfer of the funds to our family’s account. I am the father of the family receiving the money. The displacement fees will be for moving expenses, housing costs such as rent until we can find a place to stay more permanently.”

The GoFundMe was launched a few weeks after their daughter Kendra, 27, was arrested two days after her husband, Joseph, was taken into custody. Although she was released that same day, she was charged with four counts of child endangerment charges.

“The 14-year-old victim participated in a forensic interview, where she disclosed several incidents involving Duggar that occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9-years-old,” a press release from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office read.

Shared on Facebook, the press release also detailed that Joseph “repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap” and “manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals.”
