Josh Duggar Claims He’s Being Dehumanized as Family Rift Deepens

Josh Duggar is proof that having a large number of siblings does not mean you’d feel warm and cozy when you run into harsh times. Nope. For all of his 18 surviving siblings, Josh, who is the eldest, is as good as a person who only has two.

Amid this treatment from his siblings, Josh has kindly implored them to do some soul-searching and know whether they would be happy if the tables were reversed and they were the ones in jail being treated so.

What Josh Duggar Has To Say About the Treatment He Got From His Siblings

Josh Duggar is currently serving time in a federal prison after being convicted of the hectic crime of possessing child pornography.

As he tries his best to get his 151-month sentence reduced, it seems there’s another thing that’s bothering him: the lack of the advertised sibling bond the Duggars would have us believe they shared on their TLC show.

“I really don’t care what anyone thinks about me at this point…but i would expect at least a little bit of respect as a human being — which i feel like i haven’t even received from any of my own siblings,” he said in an email he shared with his father over a year after his arrest.

He went on to note that “It is shameful that i have received only 1 message from one of my siblings and only 1 video visit.”

Jessa Duggar Sewald was the sibling that just managed to send one message, while another younger sibling, John-David Duggar, made a video visit.

Directing his message to his siblings, he candidly wrote: “[W]ith all due respect, shame on you that you didn’t reach out.”

He then called on them to “examine [their] hearts and lives,” as well as their “own behavior,” to figure out how they would want to be treated if they were the ones wearing his shoes.

He furthermore called for more compassion to his wife Anna, who he described as “practically a widow,” and his “fatherless” children. He also maintained that kindness done to his family is kindness done to him.

This report is coming as eyes turn towards the Duggars once more, following Joseph’s arrest in March over child molestation charges.
