Joseph & Kendra Duggar’s Court Twist – The Deal That Could Make Their Charges Disappear

In March, Joseph and Kendra Duggar were arrested after a teenage girl came forward to accuse Joseph of sexual harassment. According to the victim and her family, Joseph apologized for the crime, which included grazing the then-9-year-old’s genitals, at the time.

Now that the court case is looming, the ‘Counting On’ alum Joseph and his wife Kendra have made the decision to withdraw their not guilty pleas.

What We Know About Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s Upcoming Court Case

When Josh Duggar was arrested in 2020, he was a father to seven children, and as Joseph’s case looms, he stands proudly as the father to four children.

I really can’t tell if there’s anything more twisted than a father of young children sexualizing young children, but that’s the world we sadly live in.

Prior to Joseph and Kendra’s release, they were charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment after an investigation. In April, the couple chose to enter a not guilty plea.

This Monday, the couple, who had their homes searched before their arrests, should have appeared before a judge in an Arkansas court.

However, they opted to skip the hearing after withdrawing their not guilty pleas. Instead, they submitted a plea by order to the court.

This essentially means that they can now either choose to plead guilty or no contest to the charges. When they do, it will then be up to the judge to determine if they should serve time or pay any penalties for the alleged crimes.

According to the police, Joseph admitted to having an “unlawful sexual contact” with the victim when the family was vacationing in Florida in 2020. Joseph reportedly came clean about this when he was accosted by the victim’s father.

Kendra, as far as we know, firmly stands by her husband, despite the deeply dark nature of his alleged crimes.
