GH Star Ryan Paevey Returns To Our TV Screens In December

Nathan West is dead and gone, but General Hospital fans are still hopeful that Ryan Paevey could return some day as Nathan’s twin Cassius Faison.  The ABC soap fan fave’s final air date was in July 2026.

Sadly, there’s no indication that Paevey is returning to Port Charles any time soon.  However, he will be back on TV for the holidays.

A few weeks ago, the soap star teased on social media that he was filming a new movie.  Now, we have all the details!

The Ornament Library is part of the Great American Christmas 2026 event airing on Great American Family in December.

Ryan Paevey will be playing the part of a reported named Noah Conrad.  Merritt Patterson has been cast opposite of Paevey as a librarian named Alice Montgomery.

According to The Ornament Library summary from the network, Ryan and Merritt’s characters, “discover a forgotten room hidden beneath their town’s historic library, filled with hundreds of Christmas ornaments containing handwritten memories from generations past.

As they set out to reunite each treasured keepsake with its rightful family, the pair rekindles a cherished Christmas tradition, strengthen an entire community and discover that the greatest gifts of the season are the stories — and people — we carry in our hearts.”

A press release from Great American Family reveals that Ryan Paevey’s new holiday movie will air on two different nights.

The Ornament Library will make its TV debut on Great American Pure Flix on Thursday, December 3.  Then the movie will air again on December 5 on Great American Family.  Both nights the film will kick off at 8:00 PM.
