General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has finally encountered Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) after his miraculous return from the dead.

Their meeting at the cemetery left both Nathan and Maxie in shock, but what lies ahead for them?

Nathan Is Falling For Lulu

It’s evident that Nathan is developing feelings for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), and it’s clear he would have actively sought a romantic relationship with her if it weren’t for Maxie waking up.

However, the situation has changed, as Maxie is now fully awake, which undoubtedly complicates matters significantly!

With Maxie back in the picture, Nathan subtly hinted to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about the possibility of giving his marriage another shot for the sake of their son, James West (Gary James Fuller).

Dante pointed out that Nathan needs to genuinely want this as well, but it seems that Nathan’s heart isn’t fully committed to the idea.

Nevertheless, Nathan might still make an effort to reconnect with Maxie and embark on a new chapter in their lives.

Maxie Still Loves Spinelli, But May Not Have Totally Moved On From Nathan

Maxie harbors feelings for Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) as well, yet a part of her might never have completely moved on from the heartache of losing Nathan. Consequently, Maxie could find herself starting to fall for Nathan once more, even as he remains fixated on Lulu.

Nathan might go through the motions of a relationship with Maxie while still being irresistibly drawn to Lulu and the possibilities that could have been.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was understandably upset when she discovered that Lulu and Nathan had shared a kiss, but she recognizes that they cannot alter the past.

At this point, Brook Lynn is solely focused on assisting Maxie in getting her life back on track, which unfortunately means keeping her in the dark about the events between Lulu and Nathan.

Brook Lynn Wants To See Everyone Be Happy

Brook Lynn’s primary desire is to see everyone be happy, yet Nathan and Lulu may find it increasingly difficult to resist the pull towards another kiss.

The longer they attempt to keep their distance from one another, the more likely it is that the temptation will become unbearable.

There’s a chance that Maxie could stumble upon the truth about Nathan and Lulu’s earlier kiss, perhaps through eavesdropping or a similar scenario.

That being said, this is a situation where the writers of GH could take the most dramatic approach by opting for “show, don’t tell.”

Imagine if Maxie were to witness a kiss between Lulu and Nathan firsthand; that would undoubtedly amplify the pain of the double betrayal and leave Maxie heartbroken over this shocking revelation.
