GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan’s Return Date Confirmed

General Hospital fans were devastated when Steve Burton announced that he was going on hiatus and Jason Morgan would be leaving Port Charles. 

Despite fans’ outcries and rumors of drama on set, Burton promised that he would be back.  And, the soap star has kept his word.

GH Spoilers: Jason Left Port Charles In March

In early March, Steve Burton announced on social media that he was taking some time off from the daytime soap. 

Burton insisted everything was fine and he was just wanted to spend some time with his new wife. 

On March 25, Jason Morgan’s final scenes aired on General Hospital and he was whisked away by the WSB after Cullum’s shooting on the docks.

After Jason Morgan’s exit, there hasn’t been any indication that he was on his way back to town.  But according to Steve Burton, Jason will be back sooner than we realized!

GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Shares Return Date

Steve Burton and General Hospital fan fave Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) released an all new episode of the podcast they co-host, “That’s Awesome.” 

On this week’s commentary, Steve Burton reveals that he is heading back to work in a month.  The Jason Morgan portrayer dished, “Yes, I am coming back to the show.  I start in June, so I’ll be back for sure.”

General Hospital films roughly three weeks in advance, however every year the show shuts down for the month of July and generally airs re-runs.  So, that could change what date Jason Morgan’s return actually airs. 

More than likely his return will be a cliff-hanger before the show goes on hiatus for a month.  Fans can expect to see him return the final week of June or the beginning of August.
