‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 16: Chase’s Divorce Bombshell, Drew’s Dirty Promise & Sonny Steps In

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, September 16 reveal Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a promise, while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gives advice. Plus, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gives an order!

Tracy Asks A Favor

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is with someone in a fancy restaurant as she asks a favor-she tells someone “You can convince him to forgive her”.

It sounds like she’s talking to someone she thinks might have some influence with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) is heartbroken over their breakup-but who might Tracy be talking to?

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) already tried to get Chase to reconsider his stance about Brook Lynn’s holding back the truth about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) wreck.

Could Tracy be talking to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) even though he and Chase haven’t been close for years?

Brook Lynn Bargains

In the Quartermaine mansion in a bedroom, Brook Lynn bargains with Chase, who walked in while Brook Lynn was getting Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) to sleep.

She tells him she thinks that she might have a way to fix it, but he doesn’t look like he’s receptive to her ideas.

Chase looks mad and very serious, as she pleads with him-she doesn’t want to break up.  But, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn will be crushed.

It looks like he’s going to tell her that he wants a divorce, as he discussed with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) earlier.

Drew’s Promise

In the meantime, at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house, he makes a promise to Ava Jerome (Maura West), who is naturally worried about being caught as an accessory in Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna)  disappearance. He makes a vow; “I promise you, they’re not going to be looking in your direction”.

But what he probably won’t tell her is he already framed her friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), for Brennan’s murder.

He sees it as a slam dunk, considering so many people heard her threaten Brennan at the Metro Court.

Ava is none too likely to be pleased with Drew’s tactics, especially since he hasn’t helped her with Sonny, which is the only reason for her cooperating with him!

Sonny’s Advice

In the meantime, Nina is at Sonny’s, and he is giving her some advice; he tells her every truth is an opportunity to reload.

Of course, he’s not talking about reloading a gun-he’s talking about a retry, or possibly a reconsideration.

She is asking for Sonny’s help, knowing that she’s the main suspect in Brennan’s disappearance-and acting WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) is getting search warrants.

Sonny will do what he can, and try to get some inside information about what Nina could be looking at, but he may not be able to get a lot. After all, this will be a WSB case, not a Port Charles Police Department one.

Anna’s Order

In the meantime, Anna makes an order of sorts at her condo, and it’s obvious she’s giving it to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) showed up at Anna’s after witnessing an intense argument between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

It’s obvious that Carly is mad at Valentin because she didn’t expect him to be there, and she’s probably turned around and ran, upset.

Anna tells Valentin, “Go after her!” She’s making a sacrifice, because Valentin wanted to take her and hide her somewhere until she could recover her sanity again!
