‘GH’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 1: Pool Nightmare, Ava Turns On Drew & Ric Fears Disaster

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, September 1 tease  Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) asks for help, while Ava Jerome (Maura West) panics!

Plus, in the closed for the season Metro Court Pool, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) encounter a floater!

Ric Asks For Help

Ric is with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) as he asks for help-he tells her “You gotta help me avert a disaster!”

Is Ric panicking over Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) friendship again in spite of himself?

Old, ingrained insecurities are hard to overcome, no matter how much the jealousy sufferer tries to rationalize things to themselves.

Will Lulu be able to calm Ric down, and better yet, help him realize he’s not making things any better for himself?

There’s nothing like distrust of your partner’s fidelity when they wouldn’t cheat on you to drive them away!

Simon And Kai Have A Serious Discussion

In the meantime, most likely at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Simon (Grady Eldridge) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) have a serious discussion about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

The discussion of course, is about the marketing strategy of promoting Trina and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) as a couple, and Kai disagrees.

For that matter, so do Trina and Gio, but they can’t seem to get Simon to change his mind, and neither could Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton). Simon tells Kai, “You really want to be the reason it doesn’t work out for her?”

Trina’s On-Already!

In the meantime, Brook Lynn is with Trina, along with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who has come to support her best friend. Brook Lynn tells Trina, “You’re on”, and Trina responds, “Already?”

It’s hers and Gio’s turn to shine on stage, whether they’re ready or not; will Kai and Simon finish their conversation in time to watch the performance?

Also in the audience should be Gio’s girlfriend, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and more than likely, Trina’s grandfather Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).

Might her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) be able to make it as well-it’s a cinch her mentor Ava won’t!

Ava Panics

In the meantime, Ava is still with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) Metro Court Suite after she warned him the WSB station chief was on his way.

At this point, she’s probably unaware that Jack is not still on his way, however, she continues arguing with Drew.

She tells him “Ain’t no way I’m going down for this myself!”  She’s likely assuming Brennan will be busting them searching his Metro Court Suite any minute now and if she goes down, Drew’s going down with her!

Jason And Carly Talk About Her Security System Going Down

In the meantime, Jason and Carly are in her office at the Metro Court, discussing why her security system has gone down, and Jason sounds like he’s figured it out.

Jason says “Someone went to a lot of trouble, what would make it worth their while?” Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was with her earlier, when they were searching Drew’s Aurora office but now that she’s back in her own office, she’s asked Jason for help.

GH fans will remember that it was Drew who got a virus on a USB stick from Martin Grey, (Michael E. Knight) who also had questions about why he wanted it and who he was using it against!

He also warned Drew that he could get himself in a whole lot of trouble-you could say, a big pile of Drew-doo!

Danny And Charlotte Encounter A Floater

In the meantime, Charlotte and Danny decided to go for a last swim of the season at the Metro Court Pool, which already had signs up of its’ closure for the season.

As Charlotte took a deep dive, she screamed as she collided with a body-the clothes looked like Brennan’s!

Now Danny has jumped in with her, and as they’re close to the floater, obviously drowned, he exclaims, “What the hell?”

There will likely be a murder investigation likely focusing on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) because of the public argument earlier, heard by half the Metro Court Gardens diners.

Poor Brennan was sweating profusely from the drug with alcohol and couldn’t focus to find the right button to get to his floor, so there is a possibility he wanted to cool off, and simply drowned!
