General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 22 tease Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gives advice, and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) gets an update. Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) makes Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) an offer.
Alexis’ Advice
Now that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is unable to parent Scout Cain, (Cosette Abinante) Alexis talks about Scout to Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Willow had taken Scout to Alexis for a visit and left her there when she injected Drew with the substance that caused his massive stroke.
Willow looks a cross between resigned and upset, as Alexis tells her it would be best if Scout moved in with her.
It can likely be assumed that Drew’s “stroke” has at least disabled him to the point where he can’t either raise his daughter or enforce Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzn) restraining order. It sounds like he’s not expected to improve any time soon!
Chase’s Update
In the meantime, Chase gets an update from acting Port Charles Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Chase, who has been suspended, clarifies with Dante to make sure he heard right, saying, “So I’m not fired.”
Considering the department is still shorthanded, it makes sense to reinstate Chase, just because Willow was exonerated, they still have to investigate other suspects further.
Plus, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still missing, and the WSB has nothing (except for Director Ross “Crooked” Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)!

Nina Tries To Encourage Kai
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tries to encourage Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
She tells Kai that even the best of them have to make compromises-Kai is probably not totally upfront about what he’s concerned with.
It doesn’t sound at all like Kai divulged any information to Nina about the ringtone he and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) heard that proved Willow shot Drew.
However, he may confide his guilt about something-although he doesn’t tell her what it is. Nina has done plenty of compromising herself in her time, so she would be one to know about making compromises!

Carly Confronts Britt
Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is livid as she confronts Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thiebaud), proclaiming “You may fool Jason, but you don’t fool me!”
Carly doesn’t trust Britt any further than she could throw her, and especially not when it comes to Jason!
She doesn’t want Britt and Jason together whatsoever at all, and would break them up by any means possible.
Carly is highly frustrated that Jason won’t listen to her when it comes to Britt-and even still has a hard time admitting Jason was right about Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna)!

Tracy Makes Jason An Offer
Elsewhere, Tracy makes Jason an offer-she offers to be his alibi for what he did to Drew! Is she accusing him of the shooting, or possibly anticipating he’ll be investigated for it?
It makes sense for the police to suspect Jason of the shooting, even if Tracy didn’t see him in the vicinity at the time, like she did Michael.
Jason would have had access to Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, but it’s a stretch to think he would have hidden it in Willow’s room at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst).
Jason would have melted down the gun so the evidence wouldn’t be there, just like he did with the one used to kill Jagger Cates (Adam J. Harrington)!
Just because the gun belonged to his grandfather doesn’t mean it wouldn’t have had to be destroyed like any other murder weapon!

Jack Updates Josslyn
In the meantime, Jack has a shocking update for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy); he tells her she’s been deactivated!
Josslyn looks shocked, as she gasps, “What”? But Jack may be taking proactive protective measures over Josslyn considering Anna’s disappeared, and he smells a rat-one could tell he wasn’t buying what Cullum was selling.
A recall after expulsion from the WSB was suspicious enough, let alone Cullum claiming they lost Anna.
Plus, Jack told Cullum he’d be the one to search Spoon Island, and left finding Anna up to him-keeping Josslyn as an agent is getting too dangerous!
