Jason Morgan Returns To GH
When General Hospital confirmed that Jason Morgan was on his way back to Port Charles and would be released by the WSB, viewers had no idea how bad of shape the character would be in upon his arrival. In fact, the actor even underwent a drastic weight loss to fit the bill of a battled prisoner of war.
Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli) just released a new episode of their popular podcast, “That’s Awesome.” It wasn’t long before talk turned to Jason Morgan’s July 13th return to GH, and the co-stars addressed all the fans’ concerns over his “new look.”
Anderson joked about all the shade his pal was getting on the internet since he returned. He read some hilarious fan comments from the net, one viewer even accused the actor of taking time off to get plastic surgery on his forehead.
Steve Burton Explains Jason’s Appearance
Burton explained, “I’m gonna just kind of tighten things up, get a little leaner, just so I look a little more emaciated and then makeup can do what they do. And then maybe people will go, ‘Yeah, he was somewhere for like, three months not really eating and got beat up and a lot of bad stuff happened to him.”
It’s definitely a relief that Stone Cold’s half-dead look is all an act and Steve Burton is still as healthy as a horse. Oh yeah, he also didn’t go to a plastic surgeon to get his forehead elongated despite the rumors on social media.
