General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are facing a harrowing experience that will forge a unique bond between them.

While they may never become best friends, their shared ordeal in captivity will create a connection.

Liesl And Josslyn Have Plenty Of Time To Talk

Naturally, Obrecht and Josslyn have ample time to converse in the hostage quarters of Wyndemere.

The two have already started to squabble over the cold fusion project and the next steps Obrecht should take.This situation could open the door for a potential deal, depending on how events unfold.

Josslyn proposed that Obrecht should sabotage the project to ensure she presents a non-functional prototype.

Although Liesl is hesitant to take any actions that might jeopardize Cassius Faison, also known as “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), Josslyn may be able to negotiate with her.

Josslyn Could Promise To Keep Secrets About Cassius’ Guilt

Josslyn could vow to conceal Cassius’ guilt in this situation and maintain his anonymity once they escape.

However, it’s also possible that Obrecht and Josslyn might agree to do this regardless of the project’s outcome.

Cassius is the one who kidnapped Josslyn, yet he has also saved her life on several occasions.

Had Cassius not taken Josslyn, Cullum could have easily killed her, just as he did when he stormed into the law office and murdered Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

Cassius has arguably been correct all along about Josslyn being safer as a hostage- at least until Cullum discovered her location.

Cassius Have Saved Josslyn’s Life Several Times

Now, Cassius has successfully thwarted Cullum’s attempts to kill Josslyn multiple times, which means Josslyn owes him a debt of gratitude.

As for Liesl, fans of GH know she can’t stay angry for long once she learns that Cassius has been pretending to be Nathan.

Instead, Obrecht is focused on keeping Cassius safe and clearly has feelings for the son she only just discovered.

Liesl will only lose more precious time with Cassius if he ends up in prison when all of this concludes.

Obrecht might urge Josslyn to keep Cassius’ role a secret and allow everyone to continue believing he is Nathan.

Liesl Might See A Chance For Cassius To Continue Living As Nathan

With Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) on the run and Cullum possibly facing a deadly exit, Liesl might see an opportunity to allow Cassius to continue living “Nathan’s” life once he escapes from their grasp.

Liesl could emphasize how heartbroken James West (Gary James Fuller) would be upon discovering the truth, urging Josslyn to assist her in concealing Cassius’ secrets.

When the time comes to share their story with the authorities and WSB, Josslyn could easily assert that Cullum or one of his random henchmen abducted her.

This could postpone the revelation of Cassius’ shocking news a little longer, should that be the direction the writers intend to take.
