GH Spoilers: Michael’s Courtroom Lies – Alexis’ Trap Lead To His Undoing?

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is about to fall into a perjury trap set by Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), which means he will soon be caught lying in court.

During the week of January 5-9, Alexis will initiate her new tactic by interrogating Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about his careless police work and his protective instincts towards his family.

Alexis Will Imply Dante Has Undermined The Prosecution’s Attempts Against Michael

Alexis will imply that Dante has undermined the prosecution’s efforts against Michael and has rushed to judgment regarding Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) to protect his brother.

Following this, it will be time for the second phase of her plan, as Alexis will place Michael on the witness stand and ask him to recount his activities on the night of the shooting.

Michael is expected to stick to his fabricated alibi, given that Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) has confirmed she was alone in her suite for the remainder of the night.

He is relying on the fact that no one can refute their false narrative of being together all evening.

However, Alexis is preparing a perjury trap for Michael, as she has learned from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that Jacinda was actually with Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) that night.

Both Michael And Tracy May Be Caught Committing Perjury

Michael might receive news about Jacinda’s involvement with Ezra and be taken aback by that revelation.

Jacinda’s lies will have repercussions, as Michael will end up committing perjury and appearing guilty; naturally, Alexis can then portray Michael as someone who has something to conceal!

She might highlight that Michael misled the jury, the judge, and everyone else present in the courtroom, and could argue Michael is lying about not being the shooter.

Additionally, Alexis may catch Tracy in a falsehood while on the stand, framing it as typical behavior for the Quartermaine family: they deceive and manipulate to achieve their desires.

While Willow is likely the true culprit, it seems that Michael will soon find himself under the most scrutiny in that courtroom!
