GH Spoilers: Is Steve Burton Just Phoning It In?

General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder what’s in store for Jason Morgan now that he’s returning to this fictional town of Port Charles after a pretty lengthy absence.

But at the same time, there’s a good majority of General Hospital fans that simply don’t care, too.

That’s because they’ve realized that with or without Jason Morgan around, there’s still enough drama going on in Port Charles that his presence is really not needed.

And if that weren’t enough, there are other critics who believe that actor Steve Burton is phoning in his performance at this point.

That’s because the actor has taken so many breaks from the show and has come back just to leave again that some critics out there are just over it at this point.

Just to recall, Steve Burton did announce earlier this year that he would be taking several months off from filming at General Hospital just so he could focus on his personal life.

Some even believed that there might have been trouble in his marriage to his new wife, Michelle Lindstrom.

And while no one knows if that’s the case or not, many GH fans were upset because his character Jason Morgan was building a whole lot of momentum with Britt Westbourne just for him to disappear in the way that he did.

And now that he’s back – and apparently looking a little worse for wear – it seems like no one really cares anymore, and we are talking about both fans and critics here.

What’s Next For Steve Burton?

But then again, it’s not like Steve Burton himself has really acted like he’s excited to be back on the show either, right?

As much as Jason Morgan is a legacy character, it’s almost as if he’s been downgraded to supporting status at this point. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
