GH Spoilers: Here’s How Steve Burton & Michelle Lundstrom Are Living Their Best Lives!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Daytime Emmy-winner Steve Burton is enjoying a well-earned and deserved break from the ABC soap where he stars as the hitman with a heart of gold, Jason Morgan.

The fan fave actor told fans back in February that he planned to take a hiatus in order to enjoy life to the fullest with his wife, Michelle Lundstrom, and their blended family. What’s he been up to so far? Keep reading to find out GH fans!

Burton and Lundstrom’s one-year anniversary is fast approaching and he shared with fans that he wanted to take a temporary break from the hit ABC show in order to spend “some quality time” with his family.

He’s updated fans with an Insta post: “We don’t just visit cities… we experience them. The best city in the world? New York just hits different when you’re with the right one and the best around. @themoneymichelle.”

Lundstrom was raised on the East Coast and Burton shared pics of the honeymooners in the Big Apple. They also made time to visit her mom who lives on Long Island.

Steve Burton’s Temp Hiatus

Burton promised fans that he will be back onscreen this summer and noted that he was “grateful for all the support.”

Burton and Lundstrom tied the knot back in May 2025. They went to Hawaii for their honeymoon and later that year they returned to the Aloha State with his three kids, Jack, Brooklyn, and Makena, and her two daughters.

When Does Steve Burton Return to GH?

In addition to spending quality time with his family, Burton and his GH costar, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) will perform in a series of comedy shows in the U.S. from now until July.
