General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, June 5 tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) enlists an ally, while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) worries to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Plus, still at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) objects to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) killing Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)!
5 Key Takeaways:
- Brook Lynn Quartermaine turns to Lucy Coe for help as Willow Cain’s growing interest in Harrison Chase becomes impossible to ignore.
- Willow celebrates exciting news with Chase, fueling concerns about their increasingly close bond.
- Nina Reeves confides in Liesl Obrecht, fearing Willow is headed straight for heartbreak.
- Ava Jerome pressures Ethan Lovett about his connection to Baby Phoebe and the secret he wants buried.
- Laura Collins strongly objects to Sonny Corinthos’ deadly plan for Jenz Sidwell, setting up a major confrontation.

Brook Lynn Enlists An Ally
Brook Lynn enlists an ally as she tells Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) “Someone is after my husband and I need your help!
Brook Lynn knows that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is after Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) even if he doesn’t reciprocate her interest.
She can tell by the way that she looks at him and by the way she acts-Willow is definitely attracted to her ex-husband and Brook Lynn’s current one!
Brook Lynn just needs someone to keep an eye on Chase and Willow without being obvious, someone who can report back honestly to her about what happens.
Lucy is probably not the best person to ask, but it’s better than asking her grandmother Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who always assumes the worst!
Chase’s Good News
In the meantime, Willow is excited as it looks like Chase is bringing good news, as she squeals “Chase, this is amazing!”
Then she runs right into a smiling Chase’s arms-but which good news is it; has Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finalized baby Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) adoption papers?
Or has Chase decided to accept Willow’s job offer to work as her chief of staff; he’d promised Brook Lynn it would be their mutual decision, not his alone!
Considering Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) was trying to convince Alexis to make Phoebe’s adoption closed and keep his birth father status secret, perhaps she agreed.
Also in Friday’s episode, Alexis has good news for someone, and that may just be it!
Nina Worries To Liesl
Elsewhere, Nina worries to Liesl, as she tells her Willow is setting herself up for heartbreak.
Nina doesn’t believe that Willow’s interest in Chase is merely that of a good friend, not for a minute.
In that regard, she is as suspicious about Willow as Tracy is about Chase, as she can see the attraction between the two.
But Liesl will have a warning of her own, and that may be to stay out of the situation and let Willow find out for herself that going after Chase would be a bad decision.
Also possible is that Willow’s stubbornness could cause her to do the opposite of what she’s advised to do-Nina can’t say that hasn’t happened in the past, many times!

Ethan Makes A Demand
Elsewhere, Ethan makes a demand of Ava Jerome (Maura West) who he’s clashed with before.
Ava also saw the photo of Ethan with Delilah Wilson, (Lily Cardone) as she was with Alexis in New York City.
Ava responds, “You want me to keep my mouth shut,” as he makes his demand.
Ethan doesn’t want it to possibly get back to Chase and Brook Lynn that he’s Phoebe’s father, because he wants them to raise his baby girl.
He can see how much they love her, and that’s what he wants for her, to be raised in a stable family full of love.
Laura Objects
Still in the Corinthos Coffee warehouse after Sonny sent Pascal Leveque (Marc Forget) with his man in a plane, Laura objects to a plan, and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is there too.
Laura confronts Sonny, telling him, “I can’t let you kill Sidwell and pretend it didn’t happen!
That seems to be the plan that Sonny wants to get accomplished-and most likely Lucas will object too.
Lucas just wants Sidwell to face justice for crimes that he has committed and wants to be able to get the incriminating photos out of the locked safe at Wyndemere.
Pascal gave Lucas the combination before taking his flight to freedom, although Sonny tasked the pilot with staying in the air until they had what they wanted.
