GH Spoilers: Chris McKenna Spies New Character Coming Onboard

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan) on the ABC soap, recently teased the arrival of a new character on GH that will be introduced shortly.

After filming some scenes, McKenna was seen leaving the General Hospital set and took to Instagram for a live session with his followers, so let’s dive into all the exciting details!

It’s Been A While Since Chris Did An Instagram Live

The actor mentioned that it has been quite a while since he last did one of these IG Lives and started sharing how he’s been feeling under the weather!

He elaborated that he and his family faced a cold during the holiday season-it turns out that his son, Baby Spencer, passed the illness around to everyone in the household.

That being said, although they have all recovered, just a few days ago, McKenna’s wife informed him that she suspects she has caught another cold.

Even though the actor believed there was no chance she could be ill again, here he is, struggling with the sniffles once more! McKenna did sound a bit congested in the IG video, so let’s hope he feels better soon.

Chris Shared He Filmed With A Legacy Character He Hadn’t For A While

Despite everything, McKenna mentioned that even though he had to “cough” his way through the shooting scenes, he hopes that GH fans won’t realize just how unwell he was.  The episodes he filmed will be  broadcast in the future (though he suspects viewers will notice).

As he continued his IG Live while driving away from the GH set, he expressed that filming those scenes was enjoyable.

He also mentioned that he couldn’t reveal too much to GH viewers about what he filmed; however, he did drop a few hints about what fans can look forward to. McKenna teased that the scenes he recently shot took place in Brennan’s WSB office, and featured a legacy character he has collaborated with before, albeit not very often.

He Wasn’t Talking About Carly-And A New Character Is On The Way As Well!

 He made it clear that the clips he recorded did not include Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Is he talking about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton); it’s hard to tell right now-then, McKenna revealed something bigger on his Instagram Live.

He filmed scenes with a “new character” not yet in the storylines, but will appear on the show very soon.

McKenna might be hinting at a major character debut or someone taking on a recurring role, which is exciting news.

Fans are still curious about Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) mystery “C” investor, so could this be who McKenna means?

The Show Films Several Weeks In Advance

 Since the ABC soap films weeks in advance, the character could debut in February during sweeps or soon after – only time will reveal.
