GH Spoilers: Britt’s Unexpected Kiss With Tristan Leaves Jason Reeling And Doc Intrigued?

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that the series is clearly setting the stage for a potential romance between Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Tristan Rogers (Dean Geyer).

The question now is not if, but when Britt will develop feelings for Tristan, and whether this will lead to a betrayal of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Britt Was Thrilled To See Jason Return

Britt was thrilled to see Jason return after his harrowing experience in captivity. Although Jason endured a tough time during his WSB imprisonment, he is back and reassessing his life priorities.

Meanwhile, Britt has been preoccupied with her shifts at GH and various other responsibilities at the hospital.

To secure her job, Britt had to agree to take on numerous additional tasks, which are hindering her ability to truly reconnect with Jason.

Similarly, Jason’s current focus is on his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), which may push his budding romance with Britt to the sidelines as he navigates his fatherly duties in the weeks ahead.

Is The Show Pushing Jason And Britt Apart?

It seems like the show is deliberately pushing Jason and Britt further apart. Rather than orchestrating a dramatic reunion for them, the GH writers are keeping them distanced both physically and emotionally.

We must remember that Britt kept Jason in the dark, just like everyone else, regarding the true identity of “Nathan West,” also known as Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

Britt had the opportunity to inform Jason about the twin swap, but she opted to keep that information to herself. Her secrecy could eventually backfire and contribute to the mounting issues between her and Jason.

The Show Seems To Be Pushing Britt And Tristan Together

The show appears to be finding ways to sideline Jason, allowing Britt to explore a new relationship with Tristan. With this in mind, Jason might not come through as the hero the next time Britt needs assistance.

If Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) takes drastic measures against Britt soon, especially if “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) gets his way, Tristan may be the one to save her this time.

This scenario could easily lead to a significant moment between Britt and Tristan.  And it’s likely they will share their first kiss sooner or later, possibly right after he saves her life.

It Could Play Out That Britt Strays From Jason And Cheats With Tristan, Too

If Britt and Jason are still together romantically by that time, there’s a possibility that she might find herself caught up in a whirlwind of passion with Tristan.

This would be a significant betrayal for Jason, especially since Tristan accompanied him home to Port Charles.

The moment Britt and Tristan share their first kiss could take them both by surprise and signify a significant turning point in her romantic journey.
