GH Spoilers: Britt Is Lured Into The Woods By Anna For Fatal Plan

General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 31-September 4 suggest that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will be lured to the outskirts by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who has a terrible scheme planned. What happens next? Let’s unpack this intriguing storyline.

Anna Devane’s Plan

General Hospital just dropped its weekly promo, and there’s an interesting scene. It shows Britt, in the dark, somewhere in the woods. She asks, “Why do we have to meet all the way out here?”

Anna replies, “So no one can hear you scream.” Oh, the proverbial poop is about to hit the fan!

Anna has been plotting to rid the world of Britt for weeks now; something fans have known for a while.

Thanks to her Peter August (Wes Ramsey) hallucinations, Anna not only believes Britt, along with Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), were responsible for the Wyndemere kidnapping; she thinks Britt is a threat to her family and loved ones.

Sure, Britt’s no angel, but she wouldn’t do anything to harm anyone. Still, Anna is clearly struggling with her mental health, so until she gets help, Britt is a dead woman walking!

Anna’s Trap

General Hospital spoilers note that Anna’s laid out a careful plan to strike back at Britt.

She not only agreed to use her WSB connections to help Britt and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) gain closure around Cassius’ passing; she also reached out to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) asking to purchase a piece of land on the property he owns in the mountains.

She told him she wanted to build a retreat, but fans know this is about Britt.

With that said, something may happen that triggers Anna to move forward with this plan, sooner rather than later.

Could Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) mention that Britt is her doctor? This might scare Anna enough to forgo waiting any longer and move her scheme forward to “protect” her granddaughter by ending Britt’s life.

Then again, all she needs is for Peter to pop up and direct her to do something ASAP, and Anna would hit the ground running!
