‘GH’ Preview Friday, April 10:  Laura Suspects Sabotage, Willow Panics, Ric’s Warning

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, April 10 tease Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has questions, while elsewhere, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is frightened.

Plus, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has a warning for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Laura’s Questions

At General Hospital, Laura comes to support Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as they wait for Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) surgery to be completed.

Jordan was Laura’s Deputy Mayor up until she took the undercover job for Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) which Laura is fully aware of, and the potential dangers associated with it.

She asks the kind of question one would have expected from a detective or an agent for a spy agency, which gets Curtis to thinking.

Laura asks Curtis if it is possible the car wreck was not an accident?

Could someone have been on the road that night with an evil agenda, causing them to wreck on purpose?

Willow’s Fright

In the meantime, at the Cain house, Willow is frightened as she sits on the couch with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros); she cries, “My entire future is at stake”!

What could be causing that kind of fright in Willow, has she been threatened by someone?

Or are Nina and Willow both  under threat, Nina not yet delivering to Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) location?

Jack had earlier threatened Nina with making that traffic cam video mysteriously reappear, that showed a weeping Willow in her car near the house the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot?

Jack Wants Repayment

And next we see Jack, telling someone it’s time to repay the favor-is this his explanation to Nina as to why he restored the missing video?

Even though Willow can’t be tried again for the crime due to double jeopardy laws, if this video were made public, it could create a huge scandal, tainting her position as Congresswoman Cain!

Willow obviously doesn’t want her term cut short for a scandal, in which she took the position from Drew to begin with, after incapacitating him.

What other repayment might Jack want, and for what? How many people owe Jack repayment for favors?

Ric’s Warning

Now we see Ric with Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) and he’s giving him a warning. He tells him that they need to be prepared if Sidwell decides to retaliate.

Sidwell made it quite clear at Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral that he blamed Sonny for Marco’s death, when Ric and Sonny came to pay their respects. 

Sidwell is an angry father with a lot of grief, blame and rage, and he’s going to get his revenge one way or another.

He’s shifting the blame all over Port Charles the way it is, and if he can’t pin it on the real killer, he’ll find a scapegoat to punish!

Justine Makes A Promise

Clearly, Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is somewhat concerned about the Sidwell situation as she tells someone, “I’ll handle Mr. Sidwell”.

She doesn’t look particularly worried, however, even though she’s aware of the incapacitated Jordan’s undercover position as  Sidwell’s right hand woman.

Justine obviously has a plan that she think will work to keep the angriest man in Port Charles under control.

However, there are some details that she doesn’t know and neither does Jordan, for that matter.

Sidwell was careful to keep Jordan only involved in his non-criminal endeavors, she doesn’t know about the partnership with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and their involvement in Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

Valentin Is Suspicious Of Carly

Back at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is suspicious of her.

After knowing she snuck Jack up to her bedroom as he watched them talking from outside on the deck, her secret lover is hurt and angry!

Valentin asks Carly how long it will be before she turns on him, after they argued about whether Valentin was lying to Carly or not! It’s a sure bet they’ll continue to argue about who Carly really wants, the WSB spy or the besotted Cassadine!
