GH News: Was Katelyn MacMullen Snubbed?

That’s because a lot of people are still scratching their heads over the fact that actress Katelyn MacMullen, who is best known for her role as Willow Tate on the hit ABC soap, was snubbed from the Daytime Emmys as she didn’t receive a nomination this year.

Was Katelyn MacMullen Snubbed?

While a lot of people love to hate her character Willow, there’s no denying that she did carry the show because she became the kind of villain that fans loved to watch, even though they thought she was evil.

Not only that, but it’s also safe to say that Katelyn MacMullen did give one of the best performances of her career this past season.

For some reason or another, she just hasn’t received the kind of recognition that her fans believe she deserved. Of course, many GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “Katelyn was by far the biggest SNUB this year. And I say that I love the 5 actresses nominated for supporting actress.”

“Considering Katelyn MacMullen and Cameron Mathison carried the show for a year and a half, this is a huge snub. Jane Elliott should have also been nominated.”

Willow Tate Was The Villain Everyone Loved To Hate

Another critic wrote, “The only eyebrow raise I have is Katey MacMullen not being in lead or even supporting. It seems that Jane doesn’t submit herself, as for Rena maybe it’s the same thing.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I just don’t think Katelyn wouldn’t have submitted. She’s not at that stage in her career. I may be a Willow hater, but I agree with you it’s odd that she didn’t get nominated. I think she’s been really good in her role.”
