GH Fan Fave Hudson West Makes Unexpected Daytime TV Return

It has been over two years since Jake Webber’s exit from General Hospital, and fans had to say goodbye to Hudson West.

The young actor’s final air date on the soap was in 2024, after a lengthy eight year run as Jason Morgan and Liz Webber’s son.  This week Hudson West returned to daytime television, and you will never guess on what show!

Hudson West Back On Daytime

The Tuesday October 6, 2026 episode of Price Is Right created quite a bit of buzz on social media.  Soap fans instantly recognized the first contestant on the show as General Hospital alum Hudson West.

West didn’t just appear on Price Is Right though, the actor took home a brand new car!  According to a report from TV Insider, “West bid $3,000 on a five-night stay at the Bandon Marina Inn in Oregon. His opponent, Charles, bid $4,550, which was too high, so West got the chance to play a game for a prize.”

General Hospital Star Has Something To Celebrate

Hudson West went on to play “Any Number” for a chance to win a box full of luxury watches or a brand new 2026  KIA K4 LXS.  The former Jake Webber portrayer went on to win the game and take how the brand new SUV.

Sadly, the soap star’s run of good luck ended there and Hudson didn’t make it to the Showcase Showdown at the end of the Price Is Right episode.  TV Insider revealed, “West went on to spin the wheel, where he landed on 65. It was not enough to advance to the Showcase since his opponent, Jenny, spun a .95.“

Besides winning a car on Price Is Right, the fan fave seems to have taken a break from television since his Port Charles exit.  Did you catch West on the game show this week?  Do you miss seeing him on the ABC soap?
