Ramping Up For The Fall

Following a thrilling summer, General Hospital is ramping up for fall. Co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten share insights with TV Insider for the Fall Preview. “Expect unexpected arrivals, romances, and connections.

Secrets will emerge, altering lives for better or worse, while new secrets will arise. Relationships will shift as families evolve in surprising ways; friends may become foes, and some current romances could transition to new ones.

Rocco And Scout Are Port Charles’ Romeo And Juliet

Generational conflict will intensify as tensions between the Corinthos and Cain families escalate. “Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) are our modern-day Romeo and Juliet, caught in a family feud.

Scout is Drew’s daughter, and Rocco is Sonny’s grandson. The clash between Sonny and Drew will escalate, potentially with dire outcomes.”

The storyline will also broaden with new characters linked to familiar ones, alongside the return of some beloved faces; the writers offer a glimpse of what’s to come as autumn approaches.

What’s Ahead For Sonny Corinthos?

Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) unexpectedly benefited Sonny. By taking control of the Port Charles piers- the backbone of the Corinthos criminal operation- he provided Sonny with a rare chance to step away from the business.

This is the cleanest opportunity Sonny has ever had to break free from a self-created trap; starting a business that’s hard to abandon.

Sonny and Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) secret romance will grow, despite their reluctance to go public.

However, their fragile commitment will be challenged when Sonny confronts the harsh reality that he cannot escape a reputation he has built over decades.

His enemies will aim to exploit his past-Sonny may have distanced himself from the mob, but has the mob truly left him?

Jason is Committed to Danny, Faces a Stalemate with Britt

“He’s determined to do right by Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) by leaving his criminal past behind as he looks toward a new, albeit uncertain, future. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason have overcome many challenges to be together.

Yet, the biggest hurdle to their happiness lies not outside, but within. Choices Britt made to survive under Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) control will resurface, potentially jeopardizing this unlikely couple’s future.

Carly And Valentin-A Storm Is Brewing!

Storm clouds are forming. Spoon Island is on the market, and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) hopes for a joyful return home are dashed when a mysterious buyer snatches up his former residence.

Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) grudge against Sonny could escalate into a deepening family feud.

Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) late-night swimming escapade risks dragging Carly and Val down as well.

Yet perhaps the most significant threat to their happiness is the reappearance of Valentin’s first love, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Willow And Michael

Regarding Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), “She’s keeping her chin up, but she ought to be wary. Michael is determined to see her utterly defeated and to sever her connection with their children.

He allies with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to orchestrate Willow’s ultimate downfall-which could also spell trouble for his cousin Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) marriage to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

It’s already falling apart with the reveal of Brook Lynn driving the car that near-missed Jordan and Curtis Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper, Donnell Turner).

Nina Reeves

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) should have taken a page from Carly’s book and avoided [Jack] Brennan [Chris McKenna].

Their short-lived romance came to a screeching halt when he crossed paths with Willow. If you threaten her daughter, you’re also threatening Nina – and she made that abundantly clear.

The authorities are bound to take notice now that Brennan has vanished- especially when physical evidence emerges indicating Nina’s involvement; Drew has already ensured this by placing the drowned Brennan’s wallet in her vehicle!

Nina might be staring down a grim future, but it may not be as bleak as the fate awaiting those who conspire against her.

Drew And Ava

Drew links Sonny to all the misfortunes in his life. After years of camaraderie, Sonny was quick to abandon him when Jason resurfaced.

Sonny possesses everything, and Drew believes he acquired it unfairly-or so he thinks. He plans to reclaim it, and Ava Jerome (Maura West), Sonny’s lifelong adversary, is more than willing to assist.

However, before Drew can focus entirely on Sonny, he and Ava need to engage in some damage control; their unholy partnership is set to have lasting effects across the canvas for years ahead.

Her determination to save the family business from the clutches of the Quartermaines will lead her into a fierce confrontation. This will be with an unexpected adversary, yet to appear.

Trina Stalked?

Is Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) being stalked? Or does she simply have an overzealous fan? The identity of this person could be a stranger or someone we know well; they might harbor intense dislike for her or hold her in high regard.

Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is fiercely loyal and ready to protect her, but his close relationship with Trina could endanger his own well-being.

This is a person who follows Trina closely, and has been taking photos surreptitiously, and it appears this has gone on for quite a while, going by the amount of photos shown.

Gio Navigates A Precarious Situation

Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) finds himself in a precarious situation as his mother’s deceit is revealed, and he faces further complications when Sonny is accused.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) enlists the help of Gio and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) to manage things while she travels to assist a family member in distress. Emma clashes with Britt and Josslyn regarding Anna’s struggles.

Both Emma and Trina advocate for a bold strategy to confront Trina’s stalker, which frustrates Kai and Gio. Emma’s determination to expose Trina’s stalker could endanger her own safety.

Curtis Is Devastated While Michael And Jordan Grow Closer

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is heartbroken, trapped away from his beloved daughter and newborn son; his connection to Sidwell puts him in danger from those seeking revenge.

The events at Pentonville will turn friends into foes and vice versa, possibly affecting some romances-Curtis may find unexpected help, but only if he can last long enough to accept it.

Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) increasingly depends on Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for support at Aurora.

Their relationship deepens as they both deal with the aftermath of a major trauma and the tough recovery ahead.

However, a person from Jordan’s past threatens to complicate her future-we will start to reveal who Jordan was before her DEA days and her arrival in Port Charles.

Portia And Isaiah Attempt Raising Dez In Curtis’ Absence, And Ric Can’t Stop Being Jealous

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) attempt to move forward with Dez Ashford (Yireh Avaiah Lafond) without Curtis’s shadow.

However, this becomes challenging when Curtis’s new lawyer makes an outrageous demand. To complicate matters, the Ashford family faces unexpected consequences from an unlikely source.

Meanwhile, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) can’t shake the feeling that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are too close for comfort.

As Elizabeth and Dante rely on each other more than they ever expected, will their emotional bond lead to something physical-if it does, how far will a rejected Ric go to reclaim what he believes is his?

Lulu’s Trouble With Charlotte

Trouble with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) brings about a long-awaited confrontation for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Valentin. On the work front, Lulu uncovers a scandalous secret and hints that there are more revelations to come. With some assistance from Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), Josslyn intensifies the conflict by plotting to seize something valuable from Sonny.

However, the situation escalates dramatically when Josslyn shifts her battle from the business realm to the personal, involving Sonny’s family.

The outcome is bound to be violent. Joss is focused on Sonny-but she also finds herself in the crosshairs; JJE is a significant target, and she’s not the only one vying for it.

Charlotte Helps Danny With Scout, Alexis Seeks To Help Scout

Charlotte will tap into her Cassadine heritage to assist Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Scout in outsmarting Drew.

However, her strategies will lead to more complications than resolutions, resulting in a significant rift within her family and a tough lesson learned, while also escalating tensions between Danny and Rocco.

At the same time, Rocco and Scout decide to hide their deepening bond, aware that they would encounter strong resistance from several concerned parties, especially Drew.

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) seeks to create a safe haven for her granddaughter as Scout grows frustrated with Drew’s limitations.

Tired of catering to Drew, Alexis will seize any chance to permanently cut ties between him and Scout-an old romance will unexpectedly resurface, adding to the drama.

Lucas And Joe

What started as a practical arrangement – simply two people sharing a living space as roommates – gradually transforms into a deeper, more affectionate bond.

The lines between their friendship and professional relationship begin to blur when Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) turns to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) for advice on a complex investigation.

This shift occurs again when Lucas steps up to support someone dear to him, enlisting Joe’s help.

At the same time, Lucas finds himself acting as a confidant for a variety of friends: Ava, Carly, Elizabeth, and even Britt; he is deeply invested in their lives and struggles, but the question remains: who is truly paying attention to Lucas?
