New hair, new look, and maybe even a new attitude – and we don’t mean that in a bad way at all. Clearly, we are talking about General Hospital star Kirsten Storms, as she looks completely unrecognizable.

That’s because the actress has a new cut and color and it’s one that even her fans are giving heavy approval for. That’s because Kirsten is a new brunette!

The actress shared a new photo of herself on Instagram and even provided an update of what’s been going on behind the scenes in her life.

Just to recall, her ex-husband, Days of Our Lives alum Brandon Barash was forced to take a restraining order out on Kirsten a few months back for the safety of his family.

The couple share a daughter, Harper, but she’s been staying with her dad and his family while Kirsten has been working out her mental health issues.

Well, Kirsten has been relatively quiet since TMZ broke the news about the restraining order. But all of that changed when she took to her Instagram account to set the record straight about a few things.

She wrote, “Despite everything that’s been going on in my life right now (…and I will be honest, it’s more than upsetting) – I still feel that the move to Tennessee was the best choice for me.”

“Have I been lucky to maintain employment in this industry, since my parents relocated us from Florida – with the sole intention that I become an actor? Hell yes. I’m proud of myself for handling the majority of that on my own…but that life became the ONLY thing I knew how to do. Or thought I was capable of.”

What’s Next For Kirsten?

Kirsten continued, “I will briefly acknowledge that there is an ongoing situation with Brandon that will be getting sorted out (soon hopefully). I would appreciate (and encourage) for people on here not to worry about me, or think there is something larger going on, other than 2 ex-spouses dealing with a disagreement, that WILL be resolved.”
