GH Alum Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) Reveals New Show

Chad Duell made his last General Hospital appearance as Michael Corinthos in January 2025.  Since his departure, the popular daytime actor has been lying low.

But, he took to social media this week to announce that he just finished filming a new TV pilot.  Duell might be back on our TV screens before we know it.

Chad Duell Goes Back To Work

Since Chad Duell left General Hospital last year, he hasn’t announced any new acting gigs.

Although, he did recently release a new song and he spent some of the time off from work honing his music skills.

The former Michael Corinthos portrayer shared a post on Instagram this week and revealed he has finally gotten back in front of the camera.

Duell shared a photo of himself in a black leather jacket and sunglasses and wrote, “Pilot in the books, Can’t wait to share it with you all.”  According to the post, the daytime actor just filmed an episode for a new show called “Ghosts Are Real.”

General Hospital Alum Shares Career Update

A quick peek at the official page for “Ghosts Are Real,“ reveals the show’s official longline.  “A dysfunctional ghost-hunting crew finally finds real ghosts.  A scripted paranormal horror-comedy series.”

Details about the pilot show are still scarce.  If the new show gets picked up, it’s unclear how many episodes Duell will actually air in.

Recently, the General Hospital alum made news because he finally opened up about the soap recasting him last year.

Chad Duell revealed that it was never his intention to leave the show, and he was shocked when he took a few weeks off and GH never called him to come back.
