DOOL Spoilers: Stephanie Panics, Accidentally Shoots Alex

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has recently decided that she wants to buy a gun.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) didn’t agree with her decision but has agreed to teach Stephanie gun safety.

Unfortunately, Stephanie has not healed enough to own a gun. Will Stephanie panic and accidentally shoot Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in a traumatized state?

Stephanie Johnson Is Terrified

Stephanie may have been saved from her ordeal with Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) but she is terrified to be by herself in her apartment that she shares with her husband.

Stephanie has several deadbolt locks on her door that she engages any time she is alone at the apartment. Could Stephanie have a moment of PTSD where she sees Alex as a threat?

Alex tends to come and go from the apartment for work and other issues. Stephanie, on the other hand, has been sleeping a great deal.

Stephanie is terrified of sounds and often lapses into thoughts of her time in that cold room under the hospital where Owen held her with Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark).

Stephanie Johnson Insists On Buying A Gun

Stephanie has insisted that she wants a gun to make her feel safe. Stephanie is not trained in gun safety and truly has no business with a gun at all.

Stephanie is a writer and has a very vivid imagination. This too could cause issues, especially if Alex were to come in and startle her. What if Stephanie mistakes him for Owen?

Stephanie is under the care of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) but she has just started therapy. Stephanie has not had much time to deal with her trauma at all and she certainly has no business with a gun.

Stephanie needs to give herself time to heal and to be more stable mentally before she has a gun in her possession.

Stephanie Johnson Could Make A Huge Mistake

Stephanie could be home alone and have a flashback to her time with Owen. However, Stephanie could mistake Alex for Owen in her PSTD induced trauma and accidentally pull the gun on her husband.

Suppose Alex cannot get through to Stephanie as he tried to comfort his wife and she pulls the trigger on the gun meant to protect her.

Stephani would be devastated to realize that she has hurt her husband who was just trying to help. Stephanie might feel better having a weapon in the house but that in no way means that she is ready to be the person using it.

Will Stephanie mess up and shoot her husband instead a a real threat? Will Alex survive if the unthinkable happens?
