DOOL Spoilers: Sophia Choi’s Amnesia Plot Twist

Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is very much alive and seemingly living a new life somewhere far from Salem.

She’ll be discovered during the week of October 5, so could the young woman have amnesia?

A Whole New Life

Days of Our Lives’ weekly preview shows Sophia, working as a waitress for ‘Kay’s Diner’, with a Southern accent. Her hair is lighter with a different cut, as well.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is behind a menu when Sophia approaches her to the table and attempts to take her order. Sophia introduces herself as Amelia, but Kristen corrects her and says, “Should I say Sophia?”

The promo doesn’t show Sophia’s reaction to Kristen’s statement. If she looks horrified, then Sophia may have all her memories; however, if she looks confused, could the girl have amnesia?

After all, she was knocked over the head pretty hard with a rock, thanks to Kristen, and suffered a traumatic fall into the river.

Whether she blocks things out because of injury or mental health, Sophia may have memory loss, even if it is either short-term or full-blown amnesia.

Holly Jonas’s Stalker

Many fans believe Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has a stalker and that Sophia could be the person behind this. With that said, depending on where Kristen finds Sophia, the young woman could be ruled out as a suspect (if Holly ends up having a stalker at all).

It’s hard to believe that Kristen would stay too close to Salem and be in and around the area as she doesn’t want to get found by EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

That said, if Sophia is far enough away from the little town, and Smith’s Island (where Holly got the creepy text asking if she was having fun), then that would eliminate Sophia as a suspect.

Especially if Sophia has amnesia. Most fans had an inkling that Sophia survived the river fall, so that’s not a huge shocker; however, if she can’t remember who she is, this might be the plot twist everyone’s been waiting for.
