Several big storylines are coming to a head and things are only going to get worse. Let’s take a look at what fans can expect as things heat up and major character melt down.
Amy Choi
Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) has vowed to get justice for her daughter, but she isn’t looking at her part in the situation that caused Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) to go off the deep end.
Amy feels that Sophia was cyber bullied and doesn’t consider the actual torture and crimes that she committed, like replacing supplements with anxiety meds.
However, Amy hurt Sophia more than anyone by trying to force her to have a baby that she didn’t want and raise it instead of agreeing to an adoption in the first place.
Sophia even tried to get an abortion, but her mother stopped her. Amy is just as much to blame for Sophia’s “death” as anyone else.
Lani Price Grant
Lani is eventually going to learn that Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) is responsible for Sophia trying to kill Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman).
Lani used to be a cop and this was a direct attack on her sister’s husband. Lani is not about to let this slide no matter how good of friends she and Kristen are.
Lani may tear into Kristen and actually end their friendship over this which spoilers hint could lead to Kristen going off the deep end. Kristen expects Lani to stand by her no matter what but this is the last straw.
Lani cannot condone what Kristen has resorted to this time. Will she put the pieces together and realizes Kristen got rid of Sophia as well?
Kristen Dimera
Kristen hasn’t been particularly stable for years. However, Kristen has certainly been under a lot of stress with her daughter Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) being in Bayview after shooting EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel). However, there is also the issue with Sophia and that fact that Kristen is being haunted by her.
Kristen led Sophia to believe that she was going to help her leave town and start a new life before bashing her in the head and having her thrown in the river.
Now Sophia has been haunting Kristen in her sleep and now outside the Dimera mansion. Kristen may try to run with Rachel when the truth comes out but will she be able to escape EJ and his revenge?
Philip Kiriakis
Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is in love with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and she says she loves him.
However, Philip still has no idea that Gabi is the one who planted a bug in his office that helped Dimera undo the Titan-Dimera merger.
Unfortunately, it seems that this is about to come out at some point and will cause a major issue in their romance.
Philip has had plenty of mental issues and this could send him over the edge once again. Is Philip about to lose yet another love?
Will Philip be set on revenge to make Gabi pay for everything her actions have done to his father’s company? Will Gabi save Titan only to have the truth come out about her actions?
Stephanie Kiriakis
Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) has been in a mental health crisis for weeks. Unfortunately, things continue to get worse instead of better and that is not helping Stephanie at all.
Stephanie can barely cope with the PTSD caused by Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) and has even invested in a gun.
Now Stephanie is having to face the fact that her husband, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) has a child with another woman and they are in Salem.
Stephanie is not practicing gun safety and it seems that she is destined to fire this gun at someone innocent. Will shooting someone truly send Stephanie over the edge?
