General Hospital fans have been counting down the days until Stone Cold Jason Morgan’s big return to Port Charles.

When Steve Burton popped back in to Port Charles on Monday July 13, there was something seriously OFF with him.

Jason Morgan Is Back, Sorta

Jason Morgan is back on General Hospital, but it’s definitely not what viewers were anticipating.

The former henchman was escorted back home by a doctor, and appears to have been roughed up quite a bit.  But, clearly the WSB did a lot of mental and emotional damage that hasn’t been disclosed yet.

Steve Burton’s character seems to be struggling with PTSD, amongst other things.  His entire plane ride home he kept having flashbacks.

When Jason landed, he quietly went home to see his son Danny Morgan without any fan fare, and surprised him.

A Softer Side Of Steve Burton

According to General Hospital spoilers, Steve Burton’s character will be a changed man.  His time being held by the WSB seems to have put things in to perspective for former Stone Cold.

Now his priority is his family, maybe he will even get a regular blue collar job.

Jason Morgan has always been a badass on daytime TV.  It will definitely be interesting to see Steve Burton show off his softer side on screen.

How will General Hospital fans feel about the character’s complete 180?  Watching Jason Morgan slay bad guys and save the good guys has become expected by viewers.
