Dayton Webber (27), a major inspiration on social media, could end up imprisoned for life for murder. Well, his story seems almost beyond belief because he’s actually a quadruple amputee. Read on for more about this unusual true crime story.

From Hero To Zero

TMZ covered the fact that Dayton isn’t just another suspected killer. In fact, he’s also a professional cornhole champion. During his life, he put himself out there as something of a hero. But could that make a big difference to the outcome of his trial?

Most likely, his intention to show that he could do almost anything people with both arms and legs could do, will backfire in court. Certainly, he proved he could do almost anything without help. But probably, his friends and associates never thought it might include alleged murder.

TMZ grabbed the hook about Dayton Webber, and they could be right when they suggest he could end up being his own worst witness against himself.

What Happened

About a week ago, Dayton allegedly shot and killed Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument. While riding in a vehicle, Webber was with Wells and two other friends sat behind them.

Webber was driving, and when things got out of hand, he allegedly asked his two friends in the back to help him dispose of the body. Instead, they very wisely ran to the cops.

Fleeing Across State Lines

Next, Webber allegedly dumped Wells in a churchyard in Maryland before fleeing across the border to Virginia. However, the police tracked him down and carried out an arrest at a hospital. For now, he sits in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail awaiting extradition to Maryland.

The main point of interest about the trial is whether Dayton really had the means and capacity to kill someone. After all, he’s severely challenged. But the news arrived that he seemed perfectly capable of looking after himself.

Self Sufficient

Apparently, those folks who work in the detention center noted that Dayton Webber doesn’t need any help at all. Mind you, the cops had a bit of trouble processing for fingerprints.

Certainly, his followers won’t doubt Dayton’s abilities. And that’s because some impressive footage appeared on his No Hands No Feet handle. In fact, it clearly demonstrated an ability to hunt, load crossbows, fire handguns, and more.

His Own Witness

Expect the prosecution to use his videos against him in the face of a potentially sympathetic jury. Notably, it might not be easy for the jury to remain neutral when they see him in court.

Still, evidence from inside the jail seems to bear out the fact that he is indeed able to do a ton of things without being aided. TMZ wrote:

Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail Superintendent Martin Kumer tells TMZ … Webber has shown he’s fully capable of feeding, bathing, and dressing himself, despite his lack of hands and feet.

Is There A Possbile Defence Angle?

At the moment, the details of what actually happened in the car aren’t known. As his arrest happened in a hospital after reportedly seeking treatment, perhaps there’s a sliver of a door open for Dayton’s legal team legal to claim self-defense. But, that isn’t known right now.

If nothing else, the trial of Dayton Webber will interest true crime fans because of his apparent physical limitations. Or in his case, the fascinating fact that he wasn’t so severely restricted. That points to a ton of positivity that really doesn’t sit easily with the label of being a murderer.

Viewers React

When the End of Sentence vlog discussed it on YouTube, the host felt that it might end up being a case to follow. After all, he pointed out, “Bro, if I was his lawyer, I’d be like, ‘Your honor, the man can’t even stand up. How the [ __ ] he going to stand in trial?'”

One follower commented, “Being a passenger in a car where a person with no arms/hands and legs/feet is driving is crazy work.”

Plenty of other comments pop up across social media, and many of them point to school kid humor about having no legs to stand on. But, there are definite signs that the court case will trend.

Here are a few other responses from the discussion:

  • He didn’t let his disability hold him back for reallllll.
  • That’s crazy how you can drive and shoot a guy all whilst having no arms and legs. 2026 is different.
  • There isn’t a jury on the planet that would have convicted him if he wasn’t on the internet showing off for attention. There is a lesson in that…

Actually, that last comment seems to drive home the point that exposing himself to the public as being capable really might end up being the strongest testimony against him being not guilty.
