Dancing With The Stars Spinoff: Witney Carson Shares ‘The Next Pro’ Spoilers

This summer ABC will be introducing an all new Dancing With The Stars spinoff, appropriately titled “The Next Pro.”

The new series is the network’s first spinoff of the iconic dance competition, which is actually pretty shocking. Apparently TPTB decided to leave all the franchising to The Bachelor up until now.

The all new DWTS series is set to premiere on Monday July 13 2026.  Reigning Mirror Ball Champs (2025) Witney Carson and Robert Irwin will be hosting “The Next Pro” when it hits the airwaves this summer in July.

Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro – What We Know

Over the years,  the majority of the focus has been on the celebrity dancers on the show.  But, getting cast as one of the pro dancers that are paired up with the celebs is a huge accomplishment for dancers worldwide.

Witney Carson just returned home from filming the new series and she dished about “The Next Pro” in an interview with E! News.

Carson explained, “We take the best 12 dancers in the country and we put them through rigorous competition to find out who the next pro will be.  It’s really a life-changing thing for these dancers. So they go through a lot and they are incredible, they are amazing. I don’t know if I would be able to do it!”

Dancing With The Stars Season 35

The Next Pro will air on Monday nights this summer.  Then the winner will be on Dancing With The Stars Season 35 when the show returns with new episodes this Fall.

So far the celeb dancers that have been confirmed for the new season are two reality TV stars, Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller.
