Chrisley Knows Best fans are well aware that Lindsie Chrisley and her half-sister Savannah Chrisley have issues, but she showed a lot of grace because she reached out with encouraging words and slammed those folks who bash the newly married and pregnant reality TV star.
The Estrangement
E! News reported that the comments from Lindsie Chrisley came via the Southern Tea Podcast. Some Chrisley Knows Best fans might be a bit taken aback because over the years, it’s been no secret that the two women are estranged.
In fact, when Todd and Julie Chrisley were appealing their case for fraud and tax-related offenses, Savannah Chrisley deliberately hoped that her half-sister would stay away from prison visits.
Additionally, Savannah claimed that Lindsie had cooperated with the FBI to help get Todd and Julie imprisoned. Still, it seems that Lindsie is going in to bat for Savannah anyway.
The Statement Defending Savannah
Lindsie Chrisly said, “The things that I have seen posted all week long is truly heartbreaking to me. I don’t know why people relish in other people’s downfall, and it’s not a downfall, right?”
Additionally, she congratulated Savannah on her marriage to Jason Galanis, and for falling pregnant with their baby boy.
The former reality TV star also said, “To take such a bright, happy moment and something that somebody has waited for such a long period of time, and to turn that into a traumatic experience is awful.”

Some folks were very scathing about seeing any of the Chrisley Knows Best alums in their feed. The family was always talking about the goodness of God, but Lindsie Chrisley became estranged, Chase Chrisley had sobriety problems, and half-brother Kyle had run-ins with the law.
And of course, Todd and Julie are out of prison right now thanks to a pardon by Donald Trump.
Still, there are many people who support the family, and some of them do seem happy that Lindsie spoke out against the hate that Savannah Chrisley is experiencing over her marriage and pregnancy.
