Cameran Eubanks Shares Update on Possible ‘Southern Charm’ Spinoff

s a Southern Charm Spinoff in the Works With Cameran Eubanks? She RespondsBefore anyone could hum the Southern Charm theme song in anticipation, Cameran Eubanks made one thing crystal clear: the rumored spinoff isn’t happening.

Speculation began circulating online about a potential new Bravo series reportedly titled The Isles, allegedly centered around Cameran Eubanks, Chelsea Meissner, and Naomie Olindo — alongside a new ensemble cast in the Charleston suburbs. For longtime fans, it sounded like the reunion they had quietly hoped for.

Cameran, however, wasn’t letting the rumor build momentum.

“This keeps being sent to me so addressing it here,” the 42-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday, February 9, sharing a screenshot of the headline fueling the buzz. She quickly followed it with a blunt clarification: “NOT TRUE 😂.”

To make sure there was no confusion, she doubled down in the comments section of BravoChatRoom’s Instagram post about the alleged project, writing simply: “Not true 😂.”

Fans React: “But We Need It!”

That short, direct denial was enough to send fans into collective disappointment.

“DAMN CAM ONE CAN HOPE! hope you are well love ya girl,” BravoChatRoom responded in the comments.

Another fan chimed in, teasing, “@camwimberly1 [is] crushing everyone’s dreams early this fine Monday 😭.”

Others lamented what could have been. “Too bad I loved the 3 of you but those boys have to grow up😂,” one user wrote, seemingly referencing the current lineup of Southern Charm men — including Shep Rose, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Austen Kroll and Craig Conover.

“Would love if it was!” another commenter admitted, while someone else pleaded, “But we need it! Come on!!!”

The enthusiasm isn’t surprising. The trio helped shape some of the series’ most memorable dynamics — and clearly, viewers haven’t stopped missing that energy.

Why Cameran Walked Away From Southern Charm

Cameran was a core presence when Southern Charm premiered in 2014, helping shape the tone of the Bravo reality series from day one.

After six seasons, however, she made the decision to step away in May 2020 — a move that came amid rumors about her husband, Jason Wimberly.

At the time, Cameran forcefully denied allegations that he had been unfaithful, addressing the speculation with firm boundaries.

“You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren’t worth a big paycheck.”

She later explained her frustration more deeply, writing on Instagram that watching her husband — whom she married in 2014 — being “falsely dragged into” reality TV drama “disgusts me.”

“He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight,” she wrote of her husband, with whom she shares daughter Palmer. “I can’t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV … and why I’m getting out of it now.”

She concluded her statement with a final warning to fans and critics alike:

“Please disregard any fabricated rumor. It’s a ploy to ratings and that’s it. Now I absolutely know I was smart to leave the party early. My gut has never failed me.”

Cameran wasn’t alone in her exit. Chelsea Meissner, who joined in season 4, and Naomie Olindo, who began her journey in season 3 as Craig Conover’s girlfriend before their 2017 breakup, also departed in 2020. Naomie briefly returned for season 8 in 2022, but the trio as fans once knew it never fully reassembled on-screen.

Still, Cameran has spoken fondly of her experience. In April 2022, she told Us Weekly that she would “do it again in a heartbeat” after having a “great time” on the show — though she maintained that “that chapter’s closed.”

Off-Screen, the Friendship Is Still Strong

Even without cameras following them, their bond has endured. Cameran and Naomie were both present at Chelsea’s baby shower in August 2023. (Chelsea later confirmed in October 2023 that she had welcomed her first child earlier that year.) The friends have continued taking girls’ trips and supporting one another’s milestones.

When Naomie announced her engagement to Billy Haire in December 2025, Cameran and Chelsea marked the moment with a celebratory night out. Cameran shared the joy publicly, writing:

“We are so happy for you and your new ring, I mean FIANCÉ!! We love you @naomie_olindo! @wchaire5.”

Naomie responded with equal affection: “I love yall so much it hurts !!!!!!!”

So while The Isles may not be setting sail anytime soon, the friendship at the heart of the rumor appears very real.

And judging by the fan reaction, if the trio ever decided to return to television together, viewers would be ready.
