I genuinely think fans can count the number of times they’ve seen JENNIE onstage without a stylish eyewear to match her outfits. In this way, I doubt it will come as a surprise to anyone that Ray-Ban has looked to the BLACKPINK rapper and dancer to rep them across the globe.

The signing will not only see JENNIE as the new face of Ray-Ban, but will also see her representing its tech-forward Ray-Ban Meta line as well. This move was likely made to bring the eyewear brand to a younger and more dynamic audience.

“I’m really happy to be partnering with Ray-Ban. It felt natural from the beginning,” Jennie said in a statement shared by WWD. “To me, confidence isn’t loud; it comes from feeling comfortable with yourself and expressing who you are in a quiet way.”

The announcement was made with pictures of JENNIE striking bold poses in Ray-Ban glasses. In one of them, her shimmering red leather piece stands out in sharp contrast to the shaded Ray-Ban she’s wearing.

The campaign also spotlights pieces from the Ray-Ban Meta line, which the EssilorLuxottica eyewear brand launched in partnership with Meta. This line includes smart glasses that blend everyday fashion with advanced features.
