Clearly, we are talking about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as more and more fans of the show would agree that she is becoming just like her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with each passing day.
Victoria Has Gotten Just As Bad As Her Father Victor
And no, we don’t mean that in a good way at all. Sure, Victor is known to be a ruthless businessman in this fictional town of Genoa City, but he’s also done some awful things in the past, too.
We’re sure a lot of people can recall when Victor kidnapped Jack and replaced him with an evil doppelgänger. The evil twin then slept with Phyllis.
And while we certainly can go on and on, it seems like Victoria is just the one thing that her father has always strived for on his end: power. And it certainly doesn’t matter how she is going to get it, either.
It goes without saying that many viewers of the soap had a lot to say about the character and where this storyline might be headed.
What’s Really Going On With Victoria Newman?
Some even took to social media to write comments such as, “I thought that Victoria was cool as a mom to Claire and the cheerful vibe she found with Cole! Then…she lied to Nate to protect her dad’s deceitful bs. She gets worse each time she is with daddy. “
“It makes me root for Phylis & Lauren! Do you guys think Michael will join them? I personally hope so!”
Another critic of the show wrote, “She’s always been her father’s daughter. I’m looking forward to the day Victor dies and she and Adam battle it out.”
“All the characters are being written in a loathsome way such that there is no one to root for in the A.I. story.”
And then there was this comment as well: “My question is will ANY of the Newman family realize that Victor is the biggest narcissist on the planet and actually cut him off for good? (We know Victoria never will because she’s on the road to becoming him).”
Now, as far as whether or not all of this is going to work, remains to be seen. Y&R fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
