Read on below to learn all about who won the Power of Veto, why Drew and Barrett were called out, and how alliances are now at risk!
Power of Veto Shakes The Game
As fans know, Kamu won the Head of Household (HOH) for week 3. He’s placed Lyric, Lala, and Mallory on the block. Still, he was gunning for Jason and planning to backdoor him, and his plan was successful.
According to Big Brother Network, Lyric ended up winning the Power of Veto (POV) and took herself off the block, despite desperate pleas from Jason to leave everything as is.
Lyric couldn’t take that chance, and she removed herself from the nomination list. As expected, Kamu placed Jason on the block, with the final nominees for eviction for week 3 being: Jason, LaLa, and Mallory.
Spilling The Tea
As per Big Brother Network, Mallory planned a tea party as a nice gathering for the houseguests this past Sunday, after the POV challenge.
There were fun snacks, sandwiches, and of course tea, and some guests really got into it with Barrett and Drew, donning dresses they borrowed to get really ‘fancy’ for the party.
Still, what would a Big Brother party be without a little drama? While things started sweet, it didn’t take long for Kamu to go after Jason regarding cutting multiple deals with multiple players.
Jason responded with, “This is Big Brother, right?” (he’s not wrong …) Apparently, Jason had made the same deal with all three nominees on the block: if they chose him to participate in the POV challenge, he’d remove them from the block; that way, he had a chance (at the very least) to not get backdoored if he participated.
Still, LaLa did interject in Kamu and Jason’s conversation, noting that Jason didn’t make her an offer, and she was the one who ended up choosing Jason to play in the Veto challenge.
Regardless, things get very heated at the tea party, with Kamu and Jason going at it during the entire event … shouting at each other every step of the way!
Drew & Barrett Called Out
During the tea party fight, Jason mentions a major alliance in the house that’s calling all the shots. While he may not know it’s the Toolshed alliance, he does note that it doesn’t include him, LaLa, Yash, Melody, Taylor, or Mallory.
There’s also a reference to Barrett and Drew being the ‘middlemen’ during a point where Jason asks the two to ‘speak up’, but they refrain.
After some awkwardness, Devens notes the tea party is finished. Still, Jason asks what will happen if he wins the Block Buster competition and if history will repeat itself every week. This is when Kamu notes that’ll be ‘water under the bridge’, but that’s hard to believe, right?
