Big Brother, Season 28, Heading Into Week 8: Eviction Night, Live Feeds Down, Shocking Twist

Big Brother’s Season 28 continues to surprise fans. During the Thursday, August 27 episode, another houseguest went packing, and a new shocking twist was revealed. Let’s unpack all the drama that is headed for fans in week 8 below.

1,000 BB Shows!

The Thursday, August 27 show not only was eviction night, but also marked 1,000 episodes for the reality television series. The show was 90 minutes long, and the live audience consisted of all former Big Brother players!

Mallory, Taylor, and Drew took part in the Big Brother Block Buster, and Drew ended up winning the competition, taking himself off the block.

While some fans were hoping that the houseguest would shock the icons by changing their plans to vote out Mallory, in the end, by a vote of 2 to 6, Mallory was evicted from the Big Brother house.

Sadly, only Melody and Barrett chose to keep Mallory; everyone else voted her out (even Drew).

Never Been Done Before

As Thursday’s episode came to a close, BB host Julie Chen talked about something that’s ‘never been done’; the newest Big Brother twist!

According to Julie, there will be no live feeds from the BB house this weekend until the next episode, airing Sunday, August 30.

In addition, Julie also stated there will be no Head of Household next week or Veto competition, but someone will still be getting evicted! The next challenge will rewind to the year 1,000 AD – Medieval times.

Fans got a sneak peek into the backyard, which revealed past BB players Cody, Tiffany, Britney, and Keanu in a Medieval set up on a balcony (with that era’s costumes), seemingly overlooking the BB yard.

With that said, according to the Big Brother Network, the live feeds after the show reveal that Melody did have a crying meltdown and was very upset. She confronted Drew on being a terrible ally when it came to the FAP alliance.

Still, the feeds are set to be cut very soon, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens on Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. ET.

Who will survive and stay in the house, and who will leave? Only time will tell! Comment below on this year’s BB 28, and visit SOS often for all the best news, spoilers, and updates in the land of reality TV.
