B&B Spoilers: Sheila’s Emotional Plea Leaves Steffy Facing an Impossible Choice

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that everyone who knows Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) history understands why Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feels like she does.

However, it’s fair to consider the heartfelt request that John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) birth mother made.

He offered a surprising admission in recent weeks. Finn told Sheila that he has love in his heart for her, which was rather remarkable.

Sheila’s maternal instinct was reaffirmed when she heard that statement, and she was emboldened to make her subsequent plea.

It was hard not to feel for Sheila while she was on her knees at Steffy’s feet begging for a renewed relationship with Finn and Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick).

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Heart Remains Closed

Steffy told Finn that he had a choice to make. He could stand with her and their children or choose Sheila.

Novlan’s character repeatedly reinforced that there is no daylight in daytime between them and that, while he understood Sheila’s hopes, he was in line with Steffy’s outlook.

But then he and Brown’s character had that poignant conversation in his office at the hospital.

Something caused Finn to make another pitch to Steffy. He wasn’t telling her that Sheila was back in, yet he did want to see if time or circumstances caused his wife to open her heart. She hadn’t.

Will John Finn Finnegan Seek Divorce?

It would be easy to project months down the road and claim that Finn will see Sheila and allow her time with Hayes. That would set Steffy off, and she could make an impulsive divorce threat.

However, Sheila has a long history of being persuasive, especially with her blood relatives. So, it’s plausible to think that Finn could feel alienated if Steffy pushes too hard.

Sympathy can become even more of a motivating factor than it already is, which leads us to the summertime teaser. Forrester Creations will spend time in Monaco, and Sheila will be there.

That’s the type of classic soapy scenario where everything could change and possibly in Sheila’s favor.

Sheila Carter Realizes Surprising Outcome

Sheila gets in her own head. It’s hard to blame her because she no longer has Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to talk to, since he demanded a divorce so he could be with Steffy’s mother, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Hayes), and Sheila acceded without any violent consequence.

Imagine if the mini storyline in Monaco leads Steffy to see her distrusted mother-in-law in a different light?

Devoted viewers experienced Sheila shooting Steffy and Finn. They are also aware that Sheila tried to kill Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), yet those ladies have a legitimate friendship now.

So, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to believe that Steffy’s heart will shift and that her mind will follow. That would be an uplifting and unexpected outcome that the audience could accept if the scenario is presented smartly.
