It sounds like she may be reacting to Ethan Lovett’s (Christian Howard) quick exit from Port Charles, which obviously would be puzzling.
He’s said his goodbyes to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), but Brook Lynn would find it odd Ethan didn’t say goodbye, especially to her grandma Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
She may also have questions about Serena Baldwin’s (Kelly Kruger) unexpected reappearance in town, although she’ll find out why she’s in Port Charles soon enough.
One shock after another for Brook Lynn in the past few days; will there be any more?
Couple’s Clash
Speaking of shocks and surprises, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) may be talking about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), at least indirectly.
Trina tells Kai, “He doesn’t like that … that’s his problem!” They are considering telling Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) what they know about Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and the shooting, which begs the question: what wouldn’t be for Drew to like?
But then, if he knows (and GH fans know he does) already, why hasn’t he said something himself? Perhaps waiting for a more appropriate time?
Liz Baldwin Hears A Secret
At the ballfield where they’ve been practicing for the Port Charles baseball games, Liz hears a secret as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) confesses something.
It may be about the evidence related to Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting in the process of protecting his son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Dante tells Liz he used the power of his office for personal gain, but the “personal gain” is saving the life of his only son!
Elizabeth will likely wonder why Dante is worried about this, since there’s no need to feel guilty for saving someone’s life!
Plus, already confessed to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and she was willing to overlook it.
WSB Warning
At the WSB field office, the General Hospital promo for August 3 shows Joss warning Jack, and he doesn’t look real happy.
She tells him he’s making himself vulnerable to a huge liability! Might she be talking about the relationship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that seems to be rather obvious; or could it be something else that she’s referring to?
Josslyn understands that Jack needed his black box safe back and had to unfreeze Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) assets to do so.
But what is in that box that’s so important to Jack that he was willing to submit to Valentin’s blackmail? That might be what Josslyn is really getting at!
Anna Devane’s Confrontation
At the Metro Court Gardens, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confronts Valentin after she walked into the area and saw Valentin kissing Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)!
She tells him he just got his freedom back, and now he’s throwing it all away! Might Anna be a little jealous, even though they broke up years ago?
Valentin may find it odd that Anna would equate him having a relationship with throwing his freedom away, especially a relationship with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) ex-wife!
Indeed, Sonny isn’t happy with Carly dating Valentin, but he’s not going to put a hit out on him over it!
Jason Morgan’s Makes A Sacrifice
Sonny couldn’t put a hit out on Valentin if he wanted to; he’d have to take him down himself, considering Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) just left town and now, Jason’s quit!
He’s making a sacrifice for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). He tells Sonny he couldn’t work for him anymore, and that could even include the job he had at Corinthos Coffee.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was with Sonny, and they were discussing getting Sonny’s piers back, and Sonny had called Jason.
In the promo, Jason tells Sonny Danny’s mother’s dead, and he, Jason, could go to prison if he’s lucky!
