5 Missing Women Now Linked To The Eugene Horsch Philadelphia Home Investigation

Since June, detectives in Philadelphia searched the home of Eugene Horsch on West Chew Avenue in Olney, and the list of digital findings is getting longer. What started with two missing women, Maribel Fresses and Gabrielle Amarando, became much bigger. Read on for more details.

The Investigation Grows

Investigators are now able to link five missing women to the property, and they include Nicole Fusaro, Amy McHale, and Blair Tonzelli. It’s believed that three of the five are deceased.

The investigation mainly focuses on Eugene Horsch’s late father, Raymond Charles “R.C.” Horsch, and the home he shared with Eugene that contained large amounts of digital evidence, including videos and photos.

FOX 29 reported that a relative of Nicole Fusaro, missing since 2018, said police told the family they believe recovered video footage shows Raymond Horsch strangling her.

NBC10 confirmed that a video exists but noted that officials have not independently confirmed the identity of the woman in the clip. The outlet added, “Horsch produced snuff films and wrote erotic books with sadomasochistic themes.”

The Five Women

The case is way beyond the initial findings made on the hard drives. Maribel Fresses also vanished in 2018, while Gabrielle Amarando went missing back in 2012. Detectives previously said they believed both women appeared alive in some recovered videos and were later shown dead.

Two other women shared ties to the family and the location of the home, one of them being Amy McHale, who was Raymond Horsch’s ex-wife. She went missing in 2016 after witnesses last saw her at the Chew Avenue property.

Blair Tonzelli was last seen in 2022 and reported missing in 2023. She became connected to the investigation after a woman traveling with Eugene Horsch presented an ID with Tonzelli’s name on it, but with her own photo.

Evidence at the Home

There’s still a mountain of evidence to get through. Investigators are now sifting through more than a million pieces of video and photographic evidence.

At one point, police said 600,000 images, 70,000 videos, and more than 10,000 pages of drawings and writings represented only about five percent of the digital evidence taken from the house.

Apart from the digital archives, search teams found five urns containing cremated remains. They also seized containers filled with an unknown oily substance.

No Remains Found

As of September 2026, the bodies of Fresses, Amarando, and Fusaro haven’t been recovered. Meanwhile, investigators still have hundreds of thousands of files to work through as they try to establish exactly what happened.

It should be noted that Eugene Horsch was arrested and remains in custody, but not for anything related to the missing women.

According to 6ABC News, “Horsch was indicted on federal charges for being a convicted felon in possession of firearms, including one with an obliterated serial number, as well as possessing fake DEA and FBI credentials.”
