‘1000–Lb Sisters’ Tammy and Amy Slaton are apparently slowly working to repair their relationship. While there’s still a lot of hot air to clear off, the sisters are determined to gain back the trust they once enjoyed.

On Monday, July 20, TLC released its first look into the beloved reality show’s upcoming ninth season.
In it, we meet the sisters as they get ready to ring in the New Year with family members, as well as tackle some of the things on their New Year Resolution. As a result of this determination, Amy heads to the gym with their brother Chris Combs. There, she bravely announced, “I’ve started writing AI music.”
Producers then asked Misty Wentworth what she thought of Amy’s song. Whispering to the cameras, Wentworth replied, “Ask me when I’m off camera.”
Chris was also not impressed by Amy’s latest hobby, as he pointed out, “If you use AI to do anything, you didn’t do it.”
However, Amy was insistent, saying, “It ain’t AI, it’s Amy.”
Amy and Tammy Are Slowly Working On Rebuilding Their Trust
Another development we saw from the trailer was Amy and Tammy’s commitment to repairing their sibling bond.
“Me and Tammy are taking things slow. We’re still rebuilding trust,” Amy said, with Tammy agreeing, “It’s gonna take time to get that bond back.”
In addition to Amy spending her time fiddling with AI and songwriting, she also announced that she’s looking forward to upgrading her appearance by undergoing excess skin removal surgery.
After this, she also plans to learn how to drive with the help of her husband, Brian Lovvorn. “This is Amy 2.0, b—hes,” she confidently declared.
As for how far her newfound passion in music will take her, Amy is convinced that she’s likely going places.
And if her music career does take off, she has warned her cynical siblings off on coming to her for any kind of financial assistance. “When I get rich and famous, don’t come crying to me. Do not darken my doorstep,” she said.
