Y&R Spoilers: Lily Makes A Breakthrough – Damian Can Have It All

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) forced the issue. More than progress, if Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is being straight with her, Lily realized a breakthrough.

Damian could be telling an elaborate story. One disguised as though information is being revealed when it’s not. So, a review is in order.

Lily learned that Aristotle Dumas (no actor known to be cast for this role) doesn’t exist. Damian confirmed he initially contacted the person who uses this fake moniker and is working for him. However, details were short thereafter.

Aristotle Dumas Is Funding Plush Lifestyle

Would Damian risk the plush life he’s achieved purely so he could pursue a woman with beautiful eyes? He may be giving enough information to satisfy Lily’s interest but not enough to make a difference.

Lily is willing to let Damian believe he’s making progress. Both characters’ cat-and-mouse game is understandable because Damian revealed his existence in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

However, the bottom line is that Damian appears to be paid by whoever Aristotle is and can’t possibly be foolish enough to break that bond. However, Damian’s realization that Lily wants to know Aristotle’s business intentions provides a baseline from which he can work.

Damian is interested in having a relationship with Lily, and that desire could override his better business interests. If Aristotle were to fire Damian, Rivers’ character could become Lily’s true champion.

Lily Winters Protecting Family And Business Interests

Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) message was clear. He wants to make amends by helping Lily protect her family members and Winters Incorporated.

So, the information he sought and relayed to Lily about Aristotle represented something significant. He also warned her to be leery of Damian because Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) learned he was provided information about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and their family three months before arriving in town.

Aristotle is believed to be interested in Winters Incorporated. That likely means that he sees it as a potential acquisition, with a hostile takeover or some form of business attack being planned.

Damian Kane Knows How To Play The Game

Lily doesn’t trust Damian but is willing to talk with him. That openness and her awareness that he’s Nate’s brother make this situation delicate.

Victor is fond of the Winters family. Yet, he is plotting the downfall of Jabot and the Abbott family. Lily would be even more apprehensive about Victor’s trustworthiness if she knew that.

The layers of mystery will remain intact until Aristotle reveals himself or is forcibly exposed. In the meantime, Lily must use Damian’s interest in her as leverage to gain as much information and potential help as possible in what could be a coming fight for her family’s business survival. She also wants to ensure that Nate isn’t leaving himself open for harm.
