Y&R Spoilers: Audra Stuck On Kyle – Claire Sees Warning Sign

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is in love with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) or at least she appears to be. However, the audience knows something that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) doesn’t.

She was on her way to loving him before he coldly dumped her. Kyle believes Audra thought their connection was transactional, but he’s wrong.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hasn’t thought about Audra’s love life too deeply. Instead, he’s revisiting the grudge he knows she holds for Kyle because he fired her from Glissade.

Tucker McCall’s Convoluted Business Venture

The genesis of this plot remains convoluted. As fans recall, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) purchased Glissade as a gift for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). That was before St. John departed the cast.

Eventually, Ashley decided that Tucker behaved badly. He hadn’t, which was reflective of her mental health issues that Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) was revealed as helping her resolve.

Of course, that was before he assaulted her, assumed his brother’s identity, got engaged to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), kidnapped Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and later revealed his identity at the Genoa City Police Station.

Audra was still working for Tucker when Victor hired her as a double agent. That effort led to her successfully prying Glissade away for her new boss.

Victor betrayed Audra by also hiring Kyle to help run that company before firing them both and selling it off in pieces, one of which he inserted a plant who just admitted his duplicity.

Audra Charles Puts Herself In A Bad Position

Audra has talent. She has a good head for business but gets carried away and continues to mix personal issues into her workday.

She’s choosing to believe that Victor wants to make amends, which has alarmed Nate. He can’t think she would trust Victor and is concerned that Audra will be burned again.

However, Audra is convinced that she’s realized the opportunity of a lifetime. That apparently naive outlook is being tested. She needs to lure Kyle into believing he can restart a romantic bond, of sorts, with her.

Victor verbally agreed to fund her stand-alone business, which won’t be a Newman Enterprises division, if Audra helps him prove to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) that he’s the cad he’s assumed to be.

Claire Newman Still Learning The Ropes

Claire has been honest with Kyle about her feelings for him and her relationship experience. She’s new at the love game, which is what it can become based on one’s backstory and outlook on life.

Kyle is sincere about wanting a future with Claire. Audra is ambitious, which leads any observer to wonder if she will play dirty and set Kyle up.

Victor is the likely winner, with everyone else suffering various forms of losses on his human chessboard. But if Claire learns what her grandfather did, Victor could be a temporary loser.
