Today on The Young and The Restless, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) made a guess, while Devon Winters (Bryton James) was suspicious of Damian King (Jermaine Rivers). Damian asked his mother Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) to move in, and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had an idea for the launch party.
In a tense moment, Phyllis tells Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that she hasn’t been trying to reach Dumas, but Amanda sees through her deception, revealing her role as his legal counsel.
Phyllis insists that her entire future hinges on a conversation with him; although Amanda thinks Phyllis is overreacting, she understands the challenges Phyllis has faced this year. Amanda updates her on the turmoil with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that led to her resignation.
Now, she and her son are launching their own business, and they need significant financial backing. The lawyer warns her that Dumas is unlikely to assist, but Phyllis remains determined, convinced that a simple conversation is all she needs. (Make sure to check out our next week Y&R spoilers, here!)
Amanda mentions that she has already discussed this with him, but he dismissed it despite her enthusiasm; he has other commitments-when Phyllis inquires about those, Amanda remains tight-lipped.
Undeterred, Phyllis persists in promoting her business concept, describing it as ‘a collection of small projects unified under one umbrella.’
Amanda suspects Phyllis lacks concrete ideas; Phyllis insists she is brimming with concepts, particularly in media, and has plans involving AI, digital platforms, and influencers.
Amanda counters that Dumas isn’t interested in media-Phyllis questions why he contacted Billy then, suggesting he might be keen on Chancellor.
When Amanda urges her to drop the subject, Phyllis expresses her desire to see Victor and Nikki Newman (Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott) lose Chancellor.

Amanda encourages her to move past this and let it go, and Phyllis confesses she can’t seek financial help from anyone else local. Amanda advises her to stop worrying about Dumas and get over it.
Once the lawyer has departed, Phyllis reaches out to Summer Newman (played by Allison Lanier) to share her pride in her achievements.
After hanging up, she reminisces about Daniel Romalotti (portrayed by Michael Graziadei) before calling Nick Newman (played by Joshua Morrow) to express her gratitude for his earlier words. She considers taking him up on his offer to support her.
While waiting, Billy and Sally entered the GCAC and found a table-he seemed distracted as she spoke about the launch party and possible themes.
Spectra noticed he wasn’t fully engaged and asked if something was bothering him; he claimed he was fine, just enjoying the moment-she suspected he was worried about Nick’s pressure regarding Phyllis.
He reassured her that Nick wasn’t on his mind, leading her to think it was Phyllis instead, knowing he cared for her. Billy affirmed his commitment to Sally and dismissed any doubts about his choice; she expressed concern that Phyllis might try to return, reminding him of her sacrifices for their partnership.
Billy vowed he wouldn’t replace her and believed they would succeed together-apologizing for being too serious, she agreed to set aside her worries about Phyllis for now.
They then discussed the launch party, brainstorming ways to make the company appealing and trustworthy, with her suggesting a fun, retro theme.
Billy envisions a room inspired by the dawn as seen on TV, symbolizing a return to grace and style; he admires this idea and thinks highly of her.
When he takes her hand, he mentions he’s no longer in the mood for breakfast, and they decide to go to her suite-afterward, they encounter Amanda.
Billy introduces her and inquires if his mom sent her; Amanda clarifies that she and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) parted amicably and she is now working with Dumas.
He questions if she influenced his mom’s decision to sell the company to Victor. Amanda responds that she warned Jill against rushing into it, noting that Jill is upset about the situation, and Billy remarks that she ruined their relationship.
Amanda encourages him to contact his mother before it’s too late-he diverts the conversation, questioning the Winters family’s connection to Dumas.
Amanda mentions informing Jill that she was acting prematurely, noting that Jill is hurt by the situation; Billy argues that Jill ruined their relationship.
Amanda reiterates her plea for him to reach out to his mom before it’s too late, but he shifts the topic again, curious about the Winters family’s involvement with Dumas.
Meanwhile, Sally confides in Billy that she doesn’t trust Amanda, as they both suspect she is concealing something.
As for the Winters family, at the penthouse, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Devon, and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) contemplate the implications of Amanda collaborating with Dumas.
Amy and Damian arrive and share their experience at a new restaurant they visited; Devon expresses his appreciation for Damian’s newfound ability to move past his anger.
Damian shares his gratitude for the opportunity to mend his relationship with his mother, and they embrace, bringing smiles to everyone except Devon.
Damian reassures his mom of his unwavering support, which exceeds Amy’s expectations. Lily reveals that she has prepared the necessary paperwork for Damian’s job and proposes that he manage their hotels, which he believes would be a great match.
Excited, he plans to have his lawyers review the details; when Devon inquires about Amanda, Damian admits he has no knowledge of her. Amy is thrilled that her son is relocating to Genoa City-Damian expresses that it feels like home to him and wishes for his mother to join him.
Nate and Lily agree that it sounds wonderful, but Amy struggles to envision such a positive atmosphere after a year spent contemplating her own death. Damian reassures her that he wants to cherish the time they have left together.
Overwhelmed, Amy listens as her son continues to encourage her. ‘It feels like a brand new family is forming,’ Damian remarks.
Lily walks over to her brother and asks what’s wrong-he feels suspicious about Damian’s sudden change and thinks they should be cautious; Lily believes they can trust him.
He hopes she’s right, hugs her, and says goodbye-after he leaves, Nate checks on Lily, but she downplays it; Amy is tired, so Nate takes her to bed.
Damian asks Lily if Devon is unsure about him joining the company, and he explains that’s just how Devon is-she’s starting to trust him. He wonders what more he needs to do to prove himself since he has given up his career.
She reassures him she was joking and believes in him and his future at the company-they both are excited about what lies ahead.
