Where is David Anthony Burke, AKA D4VD? The whereabouts of the singer seems a mystery during the investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Recall, her decomposing body was found in the trunk of his Tesla in Los Angeles months ago. So far, there’s no news of arrests or suspects. But, D4VD seems to have disappeared.

The Riddle Of The Missing Singer

Host Jesse Weber tried to solve the missing riddle on his Sidebar show on Law and Crime on Thursday. “Where is David?” Weber asked, while pointing out that for ages, there were “no confirmed, verified public sightings of him.”

What we know is that the artist decided to call off his tour and keep quiet on social media. His disappearance from the public eye raises speculation by true crime fans. Notably, he retained the services of well-known criminal defense attorney Blair Burke.

Attorney Knows W\here He Is?

Even more, shortly after the discovery of the body, he transferred the ownership of two Texas houses to a trust in his mother’s name. Of course, that could make legal sense if things go pear-shaped.

Former detective instructor, Matt Irvine, spoke with Weber and commented on the tactic of keeping quiet. He seems “absolutely certain that the attorney, Blair Burke, knows exactly where the client is.”

Irvine clarified that celebrity lawyers highly value “client control,” and if their client goes missing, it means that they have lost that control. Therefore, he believes that Burke “has the singer kept somewhere that is nice” and “not far from here so that he could be brought to the police if and when they require that.”

More Speculation

Speculation also grew when Steve Fischer, a PI, weighed in. He was contracted by the homeowner of the house in Hollywood Hills that David leased. Steve suggested that the location of the Tesla was moved after Celeste’s death and people of interest known to David might have been involved.

Plus, he suggested that equipment at the residence “could have been…plans as far as getting rid of her.” In his opinion, it seemed like “scary sadistic stuff.” Still, no arrest happened with D4VD.

The LAPD, on the other hand, suggested the only offense could be “concealment.” After all, they seem to be unable to determine how Celeste Rivas died. And that only makes the storyline more complicated.

At the moment, it’s possible that only his attorney knows his whereabouts. Meanwhile, true crime followers grow impatient with the whole thing. Certainly, they want justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Responses In The Comments

In the discussion area, one viewer opined, “I don’t wanna hear ANYTHING ELSE about this case unless someone is Charged & ARRESTED!!!”

Here are other comments:

  • I bet D4VD watches these videos and says “nope, not even close. You guys are way off”
  • I’m convinced the police don’t care about this case.
  • I can tell you where he should be. In jail!!!
  • What about being with a child. She was under age so arrest him for that. Also she didn’t put herself in the frunk. Or dismembered herself.
