Special Forces Season 4: Gia Giudice Spills on Tense Moments With Kody Brown

Reality TV worlds collide as Gia Giudice opens up about behind-the-scenes friction with Kody Brown during the intense challenges of Special Forces season 4

Gia Giudice Reveals Kody Brown Tension On Special Forces Season 4When Gia Giudice signed on for the fourth season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, she probably wasn’t expecting the internet to have so much to say about one particular co-star — but it seems both fans and fellow cast members had plenty of opinions.

On a recent episode of her Casual Chaos podcast, the Next Gen NYC and Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shared her first impressions of the grueling Fox reality series, which premieres Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Despite the intense challenges and unfamiliar environment, Gia says the camaraderie among the celebrity recruits was surprisingly strong.

“I can’t even name one person that I really did not get along with on this cast,” she reflected. “There were definitely some people that would get under your skin a little bit, and you guys will see that on the show.”

She didn’t drop names outright, but she wasn’t exactly cryptic either. “You guys have all been talking about him already,” Gia teased. “So, I’m sure you could assume who it is.”

Many viewers quickly connected the dots to Sister Wives star Kody Brown — a casting choice that’s been met with both curiosity and criticism.

Kody Brown’s Casting Sparks Mixed Reactions

Kody Brown, infamous for his polygamous family life documented on TLC’s Sister Wives, has remained in the public eye for reasons far beyond reality TV drama.

His high-profile splits from Meri Brown, Christine Brown, and Janelle Brown — all within just over a year — left him legally married only to Robyn Brown, whom he wed in 2014 after a spiritual ceremony in 2010. His strained relationships with several of his 18 children have also fueled ongoing debates among fans.

The controversy surrounding his addition to Special Forces didn’t just come from viewers. Fellow contestant and Barstool Sports personality Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia hinted at friction between them during filming.

“Let’s just say I didn’t know who he was while filming,” she revealed in a now-expired Instagram Story, as reported by Us Weekly. “And we didn’t necessarily lmao you will see.”

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test returns Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

The series takes celebrities far from the comforts of fame, dropping them into brutal, military-style challenges designed to test their endurance, resilience, and mental toughness. And from the sound of it, Season 4 will be just as intense — and possibly more dramatic — than ever.
