Y&R Sean Dominic Gives Valarie Pettiford A Sweet Shout Out

Valarie Pettiford, (Amy Lewis) on The Young and the Restless got a sweet shout out from co-star Sean Dominic (Dr. Nate Hastings) on the weekend. Read on to see what he said that made fans of the CBS show feel happy.

The Daytime Emmy Nomination Shout Out

Valarie received a nomination for the best guest performer in a Daytime Drama Series this year. It turns out that Sean Dominic has a good feeling about the outcome. Taking to his Instagram account, he posted a photo of himself with Valarie Pettiford, taken “at the Y&R fan event” on the weekend.

In his caption, the real-life Dr. Nate Hastings told his CBS fans:

Just wanna give this young lady her flowers @valariepettiford. It’s an honor and pleasure to work with you! I couldn’t have asked for a better mother to my half brother. lol. Thank you for bringing power, and elegance and intelligence to the screen as Amy.

He added, “All I do is sit back and take notes. Congratulations on your daytime Emmy’s nomination because I got a feeling…”

Reactions To The Shout Out

Y&R fans saw that Valarie didn’t let the nice shout out go unnoticed. She commented, “Love you more than life,” adding a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) from Beyond the Gates, said, “The stunning, the incomparable…!!!” 

Fans of The Young and the Restless also chipped in and they spoke about both of the actors. One of them wrote, “She is one of the greats. I hope she wins that Emmy and have a long, prosperous stay on The Young and the Restless. By the way, she was hilarious on Half and Half.”

Then, another daytime drama fan wrote, “I have to say that lately Nate has become my most loved character in the show. I wish he would go back to medicine.”
