Well, well, well, according to a Sussex insider, the Palace is considering sending the couple an invite for this year’s family gathering at Sandringham.

You know, Harry did spend time this year chumming up to his old man, so it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if this scenario actually happens.

But there’s a catch to this: if the Palace keeps dragging its feet and doesn’t send them an early invite to enable them to plan ahead, Meghan Markle will likely choose to stay put in California. Here’s what her mouthpiece has to say about it.

As you may have observed if you’ve been a fan of the Sussex couple for any length of time; Christmas at Sandringham is the one royal tradition that makes Prince Harry’s eyes light up.

In fact, his love for the togetherness and lively moments it inspires is still so alive and kicking in him to this very day, he’s reportedly waiting and eager for the Sandringham invite.

On the other hand, while Meghan has no scruples whatsoever about attending, she wouldn’t necessarily drop everything to fly over if they couldn’t even be honored with an early invite.

“The whole waiting game, and to have everything thrown into chaos by the royals, who still haven’t given Harry the courtesy of a date to work around, is beyond inconvenient,” an insider reportedly told the outlet.

They continued: “That alone is very stressful because Meghan is a planner, she has a full schedule and she needs to lock things in sometimes months in advance, she can’t just drop everything to fly over to the UK with Harry – to her that would upend everything.”

They also added: “Harry understands it’s stressful for her and he’s always sympathetic but he feels it’s crucial that she make a show of good faith. He wants her to push through but it’s a tense situation and it’s impossible for that tension not to overshadow everything.”

Whilst the Sussexes are twiddling their thumbs waiting for an invite, a royal expert had previously claimed that it’s not going to happen. Here’s what Richard Fitzwilliams said on the matter.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the Palace is not ready to invite Harry and Meghan to its Christmas gathering at the impressive Sandringham estate, though the couple has since moved on from their royal attacks.

“This year, as the thoughts of many around the Commonwealth and the wider world turn to the royal family at Christmas, especially given King Charles‘ health struggle and with Catherine in remission, the Sussexes will noticeably be absent yet again,” Fitzwilliams shared.

He added: “They will doubtless enjoy Christmas in California. But considering how erratically and destructively they have behaved since Megxit, they are not likely to be missed.”
