Prince William’s Reaction To Meghan Markle Signing Off Gifts With HRH Revealed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have reached a deal to quit using their HRH titles after they exited their roles as senior members of the Royal Family, but that doesn’t mean they’ll comply.

Meghan Markle Continues To Milk Her Titles Even As King Charles Remains Silent

Meghan Markle has continued to use the honorific she was banned from using much to the chagrin of many a-royal fan. But feel disgruntled all you want, it’s obvious King Charles doesn’t plan to strip them of the titles.

The only hope then is that fans wait patiently for Prince William to become the ruling monarch so that he can make the call. According to sources close to him, he is completely prepared and ready to strip the Sussexes of their titles.

This title topic is being discussed right now because Meghan is delivering her As Ever packages as “HRH the Duchess of Sussex.” The neatly decorated gift basket bearing the controversial title was revealed on Jamie Kern Lima’s podcast.

Like Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot use the HRH honorific since they’re no longer working members of the Royal Family.

If you read the official statement on the royal website, it clearly states: “The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”

Following this latest development, a source close to William told GB News: “There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is King. A way will be found.”

How can this be done? Norman Baker, a former Government minister who has some expertise on the matter, is of the opinion that the ruling monarch can strip the Sussexes of their titles by decree.

“The law is not clear, but I have little doubt that as the bestowing of an HRH is in the gift of the monarch, the monarch could remove the HRH title by decree,” Baker told the outlet. He compared the situation to “an executive order in the U.S.”

This is the second time in as many days that Meghan has ruffled royal feathers by sharing notes that address her as HRH.
