Prince William Won’t Engage With the Sussexes Because He Sees Their Brand as Useless

According to new reports, Meghan Markle need not cling so tightly to the Duchess of Sussex title as if it’s a lifeline that might disappear like a wisp, because Prince William isn’t ready to bother with them, even when he becomes King.

The Sussexes can thank their fumbling brand for this piece of good fortune, if you know what I mean (*wink wink).

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Likely To Retain Their Titles Under King William V’s Reign

Since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lost his titles, many sources and royal experts have spoken up to claim that it won’t be long before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lose theirs as well.

Perhaps because of this, Meghan was warned and decided to start incorporating the title deeper into her brand, so it’ll be harder to separate the title from the woman.

In the same way, Harry’s Donald Trump joke on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert prompted fresh calls for the Sussexes to lose the titles that they have since been commercializing.

However, whilst many sources and experts claim that one of the first changes William will implement upon acceding the throne is to strip non-working royals of their titles – a la Harry and Meghan – another source has lately popped out to tell us that this won’t be case at all.

William, apparently, wants to kill ’em with silence. And it’s not like they’ve been able to do anything major with those titles for him to start panicking.

A source told Rob Shuter’s ShutterScoop, saying, “By the time William takes the throne, the Sussex brand will be so diminished it won’t even matter. Why take away something that’s already worthless?” Strong strong words, aren’t they?

On top of that, William “sees no strategic threat” from either of them, and believes “Ignoring them will hurt more.” This is just adding salt to injury, damnit.

This goes in direct contrast to what another source told Page Six. According to this source, they would not be surprised if William stripped the Sussexes of their titles.

“If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go. I would not be surprised if William does that…he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you,” the source said.

One can’t help but wonder why there are divided opinions.
