According to a royal insider, Prince Harry and King Charles are so very close to reconciliation that the former can even taste it. He will be jetting back to the UK this beautiful September to take part in a WellChild Awards event, but before he departs he will be dropping in to check in on dear old papa.
You know who is going to be absolutely missing the meeting? Yeah, you got that right. Prince William is said to have turned down the meeting offer. It’s called “I’ve got better things to do with my time.”
Prince William Isn’t Falling For Prince Harry’s Reconciliation Plea
Last month, we learned that the peace summit attended by the King’s Head of Communications and two of Harry’s top team members yielded very positive results.
The positive results I’m talking about is that Prince Harry will get to see his father for the first time in over 20 months.
Yeah, there’s still the security tiff, but then again, peace at last. However, this doesn’t mean that Harry’s completely off the hook when it comes to “nemesis” Prince William or even any of the others he so diligently ravaged in his little book.
“Nobody is pretending the wider family issues have been resolved, but this is about beginning with Charles and Harry,” a source told The Mirror.
Regardless, being friendly with the King is sure to be a step in the right direction to healing the wider rift, right?
“As for Harry and William, though, any chance of reconciliation between them has been rejected out of hand,” the insider added.
However, we must not dismiss the power of pain and how it can make even the most estranged siblings to come together.
With King Charles’ health up in the air, a source told Parade that it could possibly be a bonding moment between the two once-upon-a-time-close royal brothers.
“King Charles really isn’t doing well,” adding that, “It wouldn’t be surprising if William and Harry reconnected a bit more over this.”
“This could be the thing that pushes it to happen,” the insider concluded.
